and i hate to be critical and pessimistic so early, after one game but still...

we played the bagels... they're not supposed to be any good in any area... yet jake sputtered like good ol greasy griese... 12/25 for 115 yards and 3 INTs? come on... hes gotta do better when we start playin good teams... portis did fine, but our receivers didnt fare so well since all the passes seemed to drift behind them and into the hands of a bagel. excuse me for being worried, but i dont know... plummers good at stuff that griese wasnt, like throwing it over 5 yards and scrambling during a pocket collapse, but does he have the accuracy he needs to hit our receivers in stride? we have one of the best receiving corps in the game, but it wont make a diff if the balls arent thrown to them. our defense looked okay, but then again it is the bagels, so who knows... if we played a decent team, who knows what would have happened today. we'll see i suppose... now im just worried.

we need van pelt. (BVP for MVP)

my dad told me about my old high school's team's game friday night.

They were down like 27-0 at the half. They ended up winning it like 43-36. Dan Onnen (friend of mine from when I worked at Pizza Hut back home) rushed for 337 yards!

the eagles are a better team than the bucs... and the eagles faced a better defense too... tom "the bunch" brady just isnt that great of a qb, and the team isnt as strong as it used to be, but philly is almost as good as last year, so id say philly.

Well, both teams are on the bounce-back this week, so it should be interesting. I think the Pats are the underdog too, so I picked them b/c I get more points if they win. My picks are already in anyway, so it's too late to change it even if I wanted to. I have enough other good solid picks that it shouldn't matter much though.

you were right Tim. 6 of my "sure picks" lost, lol!

Good thing I picked New England though...SPANK! Sorry bro...good luck next week against Buffalo. You'll definitely need it. I'm gonna have to pick against the Eagles again...Buffalo is playoff if not superbowl bound again this year.

Kansas City...41-0. Priest Holmes is out of control. Did you know he can fly? He did today.

Priest Holmes total Rushing yards: 207
Clinton Portis total Rushing yards: 249

    Priest Holmes total yards: 310
    Cliton Portis total yards: 288

your boy may have more rushing yards...but my boy Priest has got more total yards. Is Priest Holmes back? Yes he is. Is KC going to beat Denver? Yes they are.

Oh, by the way. Dante Hall. 100 yd kickoff return for a TD. Outstanding.

KC has no D? Watch the highlights brudda!

If Portis hadnt been injured today, I think he would have broke the single game rushing total (which was held by Corey Dillon, who set the mark against the Broncos).
Lewis did it for Baltimore against Clevland though. I think he got 295.

KC did look pretty good, but they seemed to start a little slow. I thought the Steelers might beat em.
But there was never any doubt about the Broncos. They played well today. :)

Yeah, KC started slow, but once they got going...THEY GOT GOING! :D

Any word on how bad Portis and Plummer's injuries were?
