2003 figures from Hasbro *Offical Thread*

Oh my! What's the matter with the speeder figures!?! Their legs!

 

They should look cool on the bikes.
The legs look no different then past releases of the scout,Luke and Leia on the bike so I have no probs there. Hopefully they will do some slight adjustments as I remember Anikan looking a lot cooler then that in the movie.

 

Dooku`s speeder set is very nice.

I hope Anakin comes with his robe
but as pessimistic I am I´m not counting
on that.

 

I have to say, the Deluxe Clonetrooper with Speeder Bike looks like a wonderful figure. I think that's one deluxe figure that I may be willing to fork out the $20 to buy two (one to open and display on the shelf.

 

That crap on Mace better be removeable. If not I'll break it off.

As you all know the first 4 figures were originally released in the POTJ line and these are just re-carded to match the current Saga blue cards (which is good news for me as I missed the Rebel Trooper the first time around). Hopefully the new Rebel Trooper and Imperial Officer will have variant heads like the recent Endor Rebel Soldier figure did.

 

Well all of the above figures have ben confirmed by Hasbro except Teebo and Eeth Koth.

 

It's starting to get a little stale if you ask me. To be honest, I'd like to see whole new characters before I see improvements over old ones. Sure, maybe one of the Han's wasn't great, but with so many to choose from, each collector, or child who plays with these, has found one to like. So instead of another Chewie, or even Dooku, I'd really like some variety. It's bad enough that Tusken Raider with mastiff is the previous male Tusken Raider packed with the Geonosian mastiff, but with all the characters possible, why rehash the same old ones? Let's also not forget that they only have a two year run before they have to start gearing up for Episode III. So they're wasting time with do-overs when they could be putting out new things. If they want to do something over, and do it right, do Bib Fortuna. The first one stank. He looked chubby and had a floating head. It was bad. And I say this as a huge Artoo fan, I don't need another one before getting to some minor missed characters.

For those who have a problem with the repacks, this gives those of us who missed out on them the first time around to acquire these figures.

Besides, you can only go so far with old figures without delving into the EU. Plus, If you create too many misc. Jedi or figures, you might end up with the situation surrounding the Nikto Jedi (aka Peg Warmer Supreme).
