Any body got special plans for 2006? Somehow, some way I will construct a vac table. My first goal is for a RFT helmet followed by an Endor commando donut from ABS.

I am torn between a couple things. Right now, I'm actually leaning towards a World War II impression...

Other ideas that I have narrowed down are a scout trooper, Imperial officer, or Link from Legend of Zelda. We will have to see what time and money permit. :)

Could be worse, he might have chosen Xandir from Drawn Together

Made some major progress on my endor commando donut. Not completely screen accurate but the mundanes on the street would never notice the diff. Should be good enough to get me into the RL (I hope).

Also working on an x-wing pilot. I brought this to the last GM. Has anyone ever seen the star wars LaserTag chest box? Would I be taken out and stoned for wearing one? it's 4-3/4" (12 CM) x 5-3/4" (14 CM) lt appears to be little over 3/4 size. I don't want to wind up looking like the dirty-bathrobe-jedi-guy.

Also posted on the RL but there doesn't seem to be much action there.

The RL seems to be very strict on what they'll allow.

The jacket is not part of the costume. BTW a chaimail hood is easier than sewing this felgercarb by hand

Ta Da! For the impoverished costumer. a rebel commando helmet that cost less than 15 bucks to make. The cloth part is an old pair of Dockers that my spaceship-sized arse will no longer fit in and the donut is from a 4 dollar planter from Wally world. What do you guys think? Will this work?

I just think that it's hilarious that Paddington,Ruxpin, and Pooh can walk up to a squad of troopers in impervium armour with a rock in each hand and beat the stuffing out of them (i.e. the battle of Endor).

They are all main characters. That is the true weakness of a stormtrooper. If a main character is around, we choke. It's kinda like Peyton Manning in a playoff game. [face_tired]
