Hmm, more rehashes, repacks, etc. Too bad. I'm looking at the votc line though. That Han Solo looks killer!

The only SW Transformers I can think of are Droid Fighters/Vulture Droids and Zam Wesell.

    Vulture Droids.... ROLL OUT! ;)

More on what to expect in the "new" Saga line:

    From Rebelscum

Hasbro 2006 Plans: The Saga Collection
Posted by Curto on July 16, 2005:

As officially announced yesterday, the Saga Collection will focus on characters from across the entire Star Wars saga, and include all 6 films in the series.

Each wave of action figures will be focused on a classic battle, and include the iconic characters. Look for 56 figures, split into 8 waves, and as an added bonus, each figure will inlcude a bonus holographic mini figure. The waves are as follows:

Battle of Carkoon from Episode VI will include 6 figures
Battle of Hoth from Episode V will include 8 figures
Battle of Coruscant from Episode III will include 6 figures
Battle of Geonosis from Episode II will include 7 figures
Battle of Tatooine from Episode IV will include 7 figures
Battle of Endor from Episode VI will include 8 figures
Battle of Naboo from Episode I will include 8 figures
Battle of Death Star from Episode IV will include 6 figures

Which figures will make up each wave? Not much is known just yet, but we already reported that Battle of Carkoon will include Leia as Boushh, Han Solo in Carbonite, Bib Fortuna, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, and Barada with a mix of all-new sculpts, repacks, and repaints. Plus, we've seen from the Hasbro presentation yesterday that Battle of Tatooine will include a repainted Sandtrooper based on the sample shown.

If the Battle of Carkoon holds true half of the figures from each line will be new. Odds are in the end it probably won't be that high but some exciting stuff to look forward to. Some according to Hasbro "never seen in this scale before".

I'm looking forward to Battle of Courscant I'm hoping for a Darth Vader and Cin drallig out of that one.

    Star Wars Transformers from REBELSCUM
As we previously reported, one of our Rebel spies has come across some interesting silver-and-black packaging with the logos of both Star Wars and Transformers on it.

While it's still very early in the development stages, and a lot depends on if retailers are willing to pick it up, here's a list of toys in the works (of the 12 that are planned):

    Luke Skywalker / X-Wing Fighter
    Darth Vader / TIE Fighter
    General Grievous / Wheel Bike
    Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter
    Boba Fett / Slave 1
    Darth Maul / Sith Infiltrator
    Anakin Skywalker / Jedi Starfighter
    Snowtrooper / AT-ST
    Clone Trooper / ARC-170 Fighter
    Emperor Palpatine / Star Destroyer
    Jango Fett / Slave 1

If all goes as planned, these should begin appearing early in 2006.

In related news, we also hear that Transformers will be joining Star Wars in another popular line...more on that tomorrow.
