2006 San Diego Comic Con International Meet Up?

I didn't go last year, but we met there the year before, also. You're right, there's a Pizza place right next door.

 

Well, the 501st photo last year was actually on the front steps up a bit higher than the RL photos were taken. Kind of outside the 'sails' area where people picked up badges. I do know where that back court area is though, although I only know how to get there from inside the con once the convention is open (not sure how to get there before the con opens from the outside - I guess I'll have to explore on Thursday with the help of that photo).

I guess we'll check with people manning the RL table Thursday to make sure we show up at the right location?

Yep. I'll be one of those manning (personing? lol) the RL table, so we should have the info before Thursday.

this will be my first time at an big event like this.
i don't know what to bring or what is right/wrong.

i hope my friend and i can finish up my costume.

I hope to go between Friday and Sunday, not sure when. I have to finish my Sith costume and the rally race I was in last weekend was very, very hot and I'm recovering from heatstroke so I haven't done anything... and I feel like a wet noodle! But I bought Sith contacts at the Anime Expo... so I have to go! I really want to, at least.

You can't wear your Han for Friday's Rebel Legion photo shoot? It's "Star Wars Day"!

 

I'm not getting in until the afternoon. I don't think I'll be able to make much on Friday until the later afternoon.
