Mara watches with a tightened jaw as Jacen leaves silently before nodding to herself. With a last fond glance at her family, she flips a switch on bi0nic?s abandoned control panel.

Downstairs, everyone looks up in amusement at the picture that appears on the screen, Mara?s farewell. It is enough, they decide, to make them believe in ghosts.
