Sac, CA 2007 Christmas Party

Adding Belda to the confirmed list and she is bringing pumpkin bread.


Does anyone have a small Christmas tree.....table top sized? I have some ornaments, lights, garland. I still need to hear if anyone has decorations and will be coming early to decorate. TJ will be here early and will help.

 

I will be there with one guest and bring a garden salad and a fruit salad.

 

I don't have a tree Auntie, but does anyone have a small TV they can bring? Or does the club house have a TV?

 

I'll double check that LDV, but I do not remember seeing one.

Currently at 23 attendees. I'm trying to keep this update so that those who are still undecided about what to bring and share for the potluck see what is already spoken for. Also, it is good to have an idea how many attendees we need to provide for.

DON'T FORGET: Bring your own drinks or fixins to help with C3PO's.

Yeah, a gallon -- what's wrong with that? They go down way to easy...

And no medical staff is needed. I'm a boring drunk -- I'll just want to go to sleep. I'll just clear the couch and go to bed. You can wake me when the festivities are over.

 

I don't think that is such a good idea. I am known to be a very big prankster, and there will be cameras at the party. So, falling asleep on the couch, may not be a very good idea. You might wake up having an ummmm clown face, or something more imcriminating done.

 

Yes JD, I'm warning you, DO NOT fall asleep! Haven't you heard plenty of LDV's stories? He'll probably have his video camera!

Ugh...true enough, we are talking about LDV...ok, I'll make sure I don't nap on the couch. I'll change my order from a gallon to a mere 2 liter...I should be able to stay propped up against the wall after that. Shoot, I think we all put more than 2 liters of those bad-boys away a night at CIV, and we were all still functioning at a fairly high level. (ahem... )

I do think cameras and most especially video cameras should be outright banned from this party. LDV has a way of finding inciminating information even in the most innocent of situations!

Is TJ bringing the mistletoe?

I can bring a small tv and a dvd player if we need it. I also have a totally tacky pink tinsel tabletop Christmas tree if we still need bright holiday decorations. I gotta know early though since I will be packing my car up well before the party.
