So, we seem to do this every year, what are your projects for the new upcoming year 2007? I guess I only have one so far, and that's the Red Chancellor/Mace Duel Palpatine robes. I don't get that much done, so... yeah. What about you folks?

My costume projects are 1) finished the costumes for fan films, "General Deception" and "Fall of the Republic" 2) Padme Parade(in progress) and Leia Ceremonial for CIV 3) Jedi costumes for my little boys(I have 2) for CIV 4) Leia Boussh so I can join the 501(that is the only costume I will consider wearing to join them)

OK, I think that is enough considering I have about 15 costumes to make for the fan films!!![face_talk_hand]

    Congrats on your proposal! :D

I am planning on (in order):
Bespin Leia (thanks to Jade-Walker's work on the embroidery)
    Hoth Leia Vest & Boots
    Bespin Escape Leia Version 2
    AT-ST jumpsuit version 2
X-Wing Jumpsuit (I would make the jumpsuit at the same time as AT-ST)
    X-Wing Vest
I might remake my Ceremonial Leia, depending on fabric finds.
Leia Commander from ROTJ (with and without poncho)
I would LOVE to do Boushh, but my husband would not be pleased because of the price. Basically I want all the Leia costumes except Slave Leia.
Everything depends on time and money, of course. :)

    Commissioned Sleepless Night's Dress

    For 2007...
    My secret CIV Costume is...
I also want to finish the Tatooine Poncho I started this spring

Thats all for now, the CIV costume is the biggie for me, I've been putting a lot of work into the hand beading and have tried 3 mock-ups of the bodice so far (just the fabric part) - I think I may have finally found the shape that works best for me :)

Well my financial situation wont allow me to really have any big projects, unless it gets better with the new year.

I know what I have to do is my aunt's Eowyn's funeral gown and a heavily modified Arwen's coronation gown for myself, those have to be finished by March 31st. I'm still hoping that I'll be able to make my Return to Naboo gown before C4, and a handmaiden concept gown.

2006 has been a great year and 2007 will be so much better, but I only have about 1/2 a year for sewing.

    In 2006 I said I would:

Padme ROTS kissy kissy gown (maybe with velvet robe)
    Amidala Return to Naboo
Another one (possibly Isard or anything I finsd interesting)

    Finish Dancer
    Belle
    Black Dress
    Pink Dress as before

I started The kissy Kissy gown, but had trouble with the lace and dyeing it. I decided not to do the Return to Naboo and started the packing dress instead.

What I actually did in 2006
    Finished Snowbunny
    Leia ANH
    Finished my red Dancer Outfit
    FInished my Pirates Outfits
    Sleepless Knight Dress
30's Inspired Red Dress for Mackinaw Island
    Started Padme's Packing Dress
    Started the Kissy Kissy Dress
    A Civil War Ballgown
    A 1880's Dress
    Black Silver Party Dress
    Started my Imperial Officer Uniform

Last year I started lots of projects that I hope to finish, but I will be leaving In july or August to study abroad for a year and my joanns closed down so sewing will be hard this year

In 2007 I hope to Create:
A dress for my school's fashion show (Finsh by Valentine's Day)
A suit for States in Forensics (from an old 1940's pattern I found)
A 50's Dress for Twirp (Again an old pattern)
    A Mardi Gra (spelling?)Outfit for a confernece
Halloween Costume for my best friend (Maybe Arwen Morning)

If I have time I would like to Finsh
Imperial Officer Uniform (the hat is scaring me)
    Packing Dress
    Kissy Kissy Dress

And hopefully I can fit another Star wars costume in here.

    Happy New Years!

Things I said I'd do last year:
    Vader
    Red Guard
    Chewie
    Palpatine (Yoda duel for friend)

    What actually got done:
Palpatine (Yoda duel for friend) which I didn't even make ironically enough. I gave his mom the fabric and she did it!
    Worked on Custom Jedi

Things I would like to accomplish this year are:

    Again, the Red Chancellor/Mace Duel
    Pirate
Mando which might be custom or it'll be a Fett (since people keep asking me about my username)
    Maybe a Maul
Possibly a MagnaGuard... if I can think of a good way to do it

But the way things go for me I doubt if I'll get more than one done, and the one I really want is the Palpatine. I've got several fan film costumes on my schedule, mainly designing though. I've got a costume head for my crew... but it could end up being a group effort.

Well, I'm going to start the new year by making a Duct Tape Double with, how do I put this... bean bag boobs, because my dummy just isn't the right shape there or in the shoulders.

    -Mara Jade
-Lake Gown (already started, but dummy made draping undergown not work correctly)
    -Ravenclaw Hogwarts robes
    -Regency era outfit
    -Line of Men's Garb

Not a big list I know, but I'm in college right now which saps all my personal costuming time, BUT! My fashion collection class which we have to make 4-5 outfits, I'm designing them like sci-fi background characters, most of what I've got planned will fit into either Star Wars or Firefly universes.

Here's what I got done last year (again, school can kiss my arse)

Elizabeth's Plum Pirate gown (for best friend)
    Italian Rennaissance Gown
Red Silk Dress (only pic I have is what I used in my "ad" :p

I'm still sorta new to this, but so far my to do list includes:
Admiral Daala's flight suit: Already started but failed with a sucky pattern, I'm looking for a better one, and I think I found it.
General Pirate: Have pattern, but nothing else.
General Renasaince: My mom has a lot of renasaince type dress patterns so I'm thinking of trying one out for more practice.

Last year all I did was my Jedi costume.

Well I'm still rather new to the whole Costuning "Scene" (a fan for the entirety of my life and it took College to make me realize I wanted Trooper armor) SO I'm starting small, I'm doing my jedi robes and the sith variant (my character falls then rises, sorta) hopefully they'll be done by allhallowseve. I'm in the middle of like four sabres, and am being taught to sew. I cannot really begin anything until I get moved though (I'm going from podunk Mississippi to SanDiego Cali).

Wow, everyone's got so much going on! And Quee-Benae, that costume will look awsome!! I've always wanted to see someone do that one.

    My goals for 2007 are
    1) to finish up the batch of costumes I've been working on in 2006. That includes
    Slave Leia
    Lake gown
    AotC battle
    Femme Anakin
I'm almost done with them. They just have one or two more things left to do. Once I do that, I will start working on:

    Supergirl
Marion Ravenwood (torn snake pit dress)
    Padme steel blue nightgown
If I have time I'll do the nightgown that Evelyn wore in The Mummy.
