Oceania 2008 AFL Grand Final - Who will win?

Who will win, do you think? I hope Hawthorn doesn't as people will go nuts about it down here.

Also: I am totally indulging my bogan football side and I'm going to nick off work and go to the Grand Final parade on Friday.

Unless Sydney is involved, I couldn't care less.

 

Actually, it's shaping up to be a very very close match. I'd love if it was just like 1989 when we were pwned by one kick of the ball.

There's no fun watching one team wallop another unless they're the underdog. I want to see a match that's hard to call right up to the last siren.

 

The first time I heard the Geelong song playing, the people had no idea of the tune or rhythm. I was suprised when I heard how it really went years later.

 

My beloved Kangaroos were out early...

I still think we over achieved for the season when looking at our player list.

 

Essendon's out, and I'm working while the Grand Final is on, so I don't really care.

 

Pulsar are you gonna cast some spells on Thursday?

Since Fremantle decided (yet again) to take an early holiday after round 1 of the season, my money goes on Hawthorn in an upset, though in all fairness to both clubs, I'd prefer a much tighter and hard fought contest than last years debacle.

 

Apparently brown crepe paper is in short supply in Tassie, I may have to get up early to find a newsgaent that sells it tomorrow.

So we can all be moan out fates. Launceston's going to be mad now that Hawthorn has won, they're coming on Monday

 

So apparently besides losing mod powers Pulsar lost her other powers as well. Too bad Geelong.
