London, ON 2008 Santa Claus Parade

I've never seen a Greedo costume, that would be cool!

 

The only Greedo I've seen is in the 501st. and there hasn't been any responce there other then Graysstar.

 

Should I bring my costume pieces again this week?

 

I don't know. I'm bringing my rebel trooper costume.

 

Won't be there for very long tonight but I will be there.

The London Santa Claus Parade is less than 2 weeks away! We have scheduled our Official Santa Claus Parade Kick-Off Meeting for Tuesday, November 11, 2008 @ 7:30 p.m. Please Note, this is a mandatory meeting to review the parade rules, answer any questions and give out the 2007 London Santa Claus Parade Awards!

Is there anyone who wants to go with me.

for the Jar jar costume could you bring the green robe and that sleeveless dark one if you still have it.

The mask for Jar jar is coming along nicely and it will look very good.

 

I'll bring the costumes. I would go to the meeting, but it conflicts with another meeting I have that night. Why is everything Tuesdays at 7:30? I have two other groups I would go to if they were scheduled for different days.

It looks like we have around 20 people again but better costumes.

 

i cant make it out to the meeting i have class on tuesdays from 6:00 till 10:30

 

Due to hour cutbacks at my job I was forced to cancle vacation days for that weekend. I will not be able to attend.....sorry

 

I just got 2 strings of christmas lights, and a red flood to illuminate the walker.

I'll be coming to London mid friday afternoon.

 

We're not taking the walker this year, We have the Ewok on a wagon. We need white LED lights, DarthPapa is bringing some on Saturday but it's always good to have extras.

 

Here's a little news
Last years parade was reported as the 3rd best in Canada and having around 100,000 people attending.

That's like over a quarter of the cities population at one event.

 

Ok we're in about the same spot for the parade maybe even closer to the front. we're about the 13th group, with a 4:10 arrival time.
13's my lucky number.

 

13 is mine too. I'm out of town tonight, but I should be back in plenty of time tomorrow. I've got my apple cider and hot chocolate ready to go.

 

nither of my brothers are going to make it, one is out of town, the other has hockey. but i have a friend who wants to be a han solo

There's been a lot of people backing out and our group is getting very small almost to small.

 

I also have some clear ponchos if needed.

 

Picked up a light up candy cane for the Ewok to hold.

Is the Emperor robe coming for me to wear?

Right now I'm attaching one of my lightsabers to my umbrella.

I'm having some car trouble and I might be late. Where is the parade spot location that everyone is meeting at?

 

Dundas St. west of Highbury Ave. We'll be near the Kellog's factory about 4 blocks from highbury ave. You may be able to find a parking spot on King St. or Your St. south of Dundas.
