    Poll originally suggested by Kol_Skywalker.

This is a serious poll, so don't choose the other for Hillary Clinton, Stephen Colbert, yourself, your English teacher, etc.

I don't like either one! I put Obama, because I think he is the lesser of two evils, but I still may vote for Barr... the libertarian candidate!

I wish we weren't stuck with the ridiculous 2 party system, but I agree with Obama on more issues than McCain.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm going with McCain. At least I can see some of the things he's done, and I don't think the label 'George Bush III' is entirely fair. I also think Obama's stated criteria for selecting Supreme Court Judges is downright ridiculous. The man taught Constitutional Law and objects to the analogy of 'umpire' and says that judges should try to use their feelings to determine the correct answer. That's absurd, and such absurdity cannot possibly be isolated.

    John McCain

I like Obama well enough but I just feel he is untested and his proposals are too idealistic and unsound and I don't like this all most socialist direction the Democrat party seems to be turning to. It's also very hard to say no to McCain, he's one of the greatest patriots and public servants our nation has had. And Obama can say his goal is to unite the parties as much as he wants but McCain has been a part of successful bipartisan legislation.

    lol

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with Obama. I'm usually a Democrat, and this is no exception. McCain is just too conservative for me, although I think he the Republican I would most like to have in the white if we did have to have a Republican. It would be cool if Obama appointed McCain to some position when he gets in the white, like some people did in the 1800s.

When Barack Obama is so great that he is making me vote Democrat, you know he's something special.

What is it about Obama that makes you want to vote for him? He's an excellent speaker, just in terms of the sound of his voice, but I've yet to hear him say anything that sounds earth-shatteringly wonderful. Is his greatness based on personal charisma?

To be clear, I'm not overwhelmed by either candidate. I'm just trying to understand the devotion that Obama inspires.

Obama - In my opinion, he will be far better for our country right now than McCain would be.

He wants to bomb Iran, he wants to continue with the economic policies of Bush, he flip flopped on gat marriage within 30 minutes during the same interview, he spoke out against waterboarding but voted against a bill that would have stopped its use, he supports Intelligent Design being taught in science classes, loves warantless wiretapping.

    Bush III. Insanity.
