Hou, TX 2009 Baytown Christmas Parade ? Dec 11 = Cancel our Appearance

Cancelled due to rain.

2:15 p.m. Just got a call from a man with the parade. He asked about electronics and costumes and we discussed the rain.

As much as he was excited that we would be a part of the parade, he recommended that we not participate and protect out costumes.

Maybe next year.

 

Great work John!! I agree, this will be a great debut for the Houston FanForce. As long as I get off in time from my job( in which I work for free it seems, haha ) I will be there. Too bad we do not have the fanforce banner yet.

 

Great work. There is no way with traffic that i can make it.

Oh well, maybe next time. Did the whole parade get canceled, or just our participation?

 

I do not know if the parade was cancelled or not.

The gentleman who was a coordinator called me and said that the rain chances was very high and asked if any of out costumes had any electronics. I told him most do. He said that he would recommend that we do not show and take a chance of messing up our costumes.

I had to agree with him. He was sad but understood and said that we would be greatly welcomed next year.
