    Okay, I decided to do this costume around February and only completed in late May for our local License2Play 2009 Event :

    Young Athena Sasha from Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v31/Sith_Haldir/Cosplay/Stseiya/Sasha/Mine/090523_02sasha.jpg] [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v31/Sith_Haldir/Cosplay/Stseiya/Sasha/Mine/100_2830_edit.jpg]

    More can be seen HERE

    It's still ~85% Completed as I still need the proper boots (am wearing my Army Combat Boots here), Green Contacts and getting the Staff repaint all-Gold but can hang it up for now.

    Next on the list will be Hypnos and Alone from the same series, apart from completing my Biker Scout and Hufflepuff School Robe by end of July....I hope! [face_worried]

    And I need to get a new Rebel-related costume done by August for the Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention. :oops: Need something to wear to troop for awhile with the Malaysian Rebel Legion members who'll be coming down this Aug for the event as Singapore dun have a Rebel Outpost yet.

    Thank you :)

    Yub yub, it's from a Manga and now Anime (first 2 Episodes officially released 2 days ago as OVA). Heehee....don't worry about not knowing as unfortunately, Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas isn't yet a well-known Manga (and now Anime) in many countries tho' it doing well in Japan, probably Hong Kong/China/Taiwan apart from Spain, Brazil and Italy. I LOVE [face_love] it cause I had been loving the original series on and off since 1990.

    Frankly, it seems to be still "undercosplayed" compared to all those multiples characters from Naruto, Bleach, Vampire Knight etc. [face_tired]

    I'm working on a 1860's ensemble at the moment, need to finish and wear it in two weeks. I've now at least come so far that I have wearable underwear.

    My current project is this Jaina Solo outfit:
    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/yamibernarda/dolls/dhf_sw_jaina.gif]
    ...and getting in shape for it. Thus the temptation of "come to the dark side, we have cookies" has taken a whole new meaning to me.

    I've edited out the wedding related garments as I found THE dress and two Maids' dresses at a salon that was going out of business. I love designer labels at more than half off.
    So in leiu of the wedding dress, I've added 2 more projects for Dragon Con.
    -Alterations to Deanna Troi dress
    -Burgundy Troi jumpsuit

    I've been working nonstop on this one for a while...this isn't the best or most current pic, as I now have sequins over halfway down.
    [image=http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x273/luminousbeing78/100_2570.jpg]
    The hair decor was fun to make, and again, I've added to the piece to make it more screen accurate, but you get the idea...
    [image=http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x273/luminousbeing78/100_2334.jpg]
    I'm going to be cutting it close, but I'm determined to have it done for D*C...I've added to the struggle by doing more hand beading to the trim to make it (sigh) more screen accurate!!! Aaaarrrggg! [face_hypnotized]

    S_S edit: fixed pic code :)

    I haven't posted here in a looooooooooooong time, but with Celebration V confirmed (I believe) for 2010, I'm definitely back in a Padmé costuming mood! First I have two Renaissance Faire costumes to make for my sister and me, but as soon as those are done I plan to -

    1. Redo the headband for my Family Gown:

    [image=http://blue-eyedpadme.com/images/100_6982.JPG]
    And some minor adjustments to the skirt and sleeves of that costume, as well

    2. Remake the corset for my Corset Gown:

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v188/Ame_V/Padme/Padme2_0003.jpg] [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v188/Ame_V/Padme/Padme2_0001.jpg]
    As well as the headband which broke

    3. Remake my Light Blue Gown completely:

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v188/Ame_V/Padme/lightblue1.jpg] [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v188/Ame_V/Padme/lightblue2.jpg]
    Probably sell the old one :p

    4. Make the Lake Gown

    Obviously I won't get this all done in 2009, but I do hope to get it finished before next summer!

    I barely finished this in time for Comic Con, and already want to go back and redo half of it. Mostly, I just need to completely remake the bodice & collar, then get a new full wig (we found out this was only a 3/4 wig and had to paint my hair black) and get it styled.

    The crenoline poof skirt underneath was store bought - What seriously took the longest was drafting that top (which is being totally covered by that horrid collar.

    All your costumes and props looked great! :)

    So I guess the next rush is for DragonCon?

    As for me, am suppose to be rushing my Scout for this Saturday's Contest (tho' I start my duties for the Convention this Thursday so need to complate EVERYTHING by Thursday morning 7am!) and get some minor parts needed for my Saint Seiya - The Lost Canvas Pandora Elysium Field Outfit, like Fake Nails & Glue, Ribbons for the front Collar Lacing and.....Thigh Garter Belt? :eek:

    Will try to post photos next week.......assuming I finish them on time! [face_beatup]

    I think you did a fabulous job! And I can totally imagine you "in character" and being completely intimidated by your portrayl. :~)

    Still working on my ROTS Padmé Final Senate Appearance gown. Was painting/dyeing the burnout velvet for the skirt in the backyard in the dark and wind last night! Hoping that this part won't take more than another 4-6 hours...

    Lovely Leia Ewok dress :) Will I be able to see it at Melbourne Armageddon? :D

    I'm working my way through my current crop of costumes. Now that the beads have pretty much fallen into my lap the Fireside gown is back on the to finish list. My Reinette gown is also getting there :) I just need to find a good underskirt fabric....

    Thank you! And sadly no, we aren't going to Melbourne for that. It's for a Christmas pageant and for Fund Raising events for the Cancer Council. Possibly Supanova Brisbane next year ;)

    Also working on a new picnic gown.

    I have my daughters Sleepless Nights gown on ebay now, she's out grown it and it cost me a small fortune to make due to the glass beads. Horrible child, keeps growing! Gave her Snowbunny to GoddessJainaSoloFel for her daughter as it only took 6 months for her to out grow that one!!!

    This year has really fallen short, costume-wise. But, with the stress adding since my wedding is this weekend, I spend saturday and sunday working on a project to get my mind off of it. The pattern I used really sucked and seemed to be two sizes too big for me, but I made it fit as best as I could.

    Enter Naruto Uzumaki!

    [image=http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c61/MilBrcrsan/Naruto/100_3523.jpg]

    [image=http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c61/MilBrcrsan/Naruto/100_3528.jpg]

    The red swirly was made really lazily, but with working on it for over two hours, I didn't mind. I'll just have to find that gel that keeps fabric from fraying. All in all, it's okay for my first attempt. :p And no, I'm not binded. :p
