Gonna go the "less is more" route this year. Only a few resolutions, but I feel they're important ones.

    1. Finish my contribution for every challenge I enter.
    2. Write a canon character I've never written before. (Done! 5/3/09)
    3. Finish the Conversations series. (Done! 4/14/09)

    1. Get around to writing the revised edition of Secrets of the Lost Order after being sidetracked for over a year.

    That's it.

    1. Finish writing, edit, and then post my Nano project.
    2. Finish drabbles on time.
    3. Run the fourth round of drabbles (that will be all-fandom friendly).
    4. Be more courageous in who and what I write.

At 13 I can't expect my writing to be scholar-like, but:

    1. Improve Grammer in writing.
    2. Start writing more, but not to much.
    3. Make a Successful RPG.

Huh that was my Santa wishlist, it didn't work. Yet. [face_frustrated]

    1. Write at least one chapter/happening/short story of something every month.
    2. Finish my Sailor Moon fanfic "Elysion" by it's 8th anniversary in May.
    3. Make some progress in the rewrite of my original novel "BronzeCrown".
    4. Write something new to submit to the school genre literary magazine for both of the issues next semester.
    5. Develop some characters for my original novel "Your Majesty, the people are about to sing."

These last three months, writing a lot more has been amazing for my sanity. I need to keep this up, but also give my other worlds and fandoms some love.

Well instead of being weeks away, we're now only a handful of hours away from 2009. :D

My own writing goals for the next couple of years are:

    1. Write an original novel
    2. Post an epic or two
    3. Restructure Triad Chronicles for the final time
    4. Write at least a drabble a day (to keep Writer's Block at bay)
    5. Write a novel the old fashioned way
    6. Stop lurking so much and actually post on the stories I?m following
    7. Stop lurking so much period, and post
    8. Try to branch out and write characters I haven't written before, instead of focusing on the same ones, or making off shoots of the same OC's.
    9. Participate more in challenges

    1. Re-establish myself as a regular 'round these parts. ;)

    2. Buckle down on those two WIPs that have been mulling in my head for over a year & half.

    3. Drink less Milky Way hot chocolates...too fattening.

    1. Start an epic-type story
    2. Respond to feedback faster
    3. Complete the current drabble challenge on time.
    4. Successfully complete the next drabble challenge and the dear diary challenge
    5. Get a fanfic master
    6. Post a story in Saga

Those seem doable. Hopefully DRL and DWB don't interfere.

    Edit: thought of another one.

Write my magnum opus, which in this case would be an intertwined trilogy of stories. One story has already been written (the first one I ever posted on TFN), but the other two aren't exactly close to being ready for prime time.

After much thought, I'm posting mine...

    1. Watch everyone else take over the world.
    2. Write the back story for Small Comfort.
    3. Um... write more.
    4. Write a boards version of the Wave Ranger back story for the NSWFF.
    5. Try to tackle a Before Era story. (I know... don't try. Do.)
    6. Take part in NaNoWriMo.
    7. Continue "So they met in a bar"... and finish it.

You mean you actually intend to use Corel Word Perfect? But where will you find a PC that still runs Windows 3.1??

I wrote a massive list of resolutions for the new year, with sections on health, finance, hobbies... I'm feeling very ambitious this January!

    Writing (fanfic):

    1. Finish all my WIPs.
    2. Write those three epics I've had stuck in my head.
    3. Write faster and stick to deadlines.

    Writing (general):

    1. Write at least one poem per week.
    2. Finish writing the first draft of my fantasy novel.

Oh, another year of this. I hope to keep these this year.
    • Stick to a once-weekly post system for "The Way of the Sith," so that the fic will get finished posting by about July.

    • Get back to "Vengeance," finish it, make it a reasonably short story, and get it done posting.

    • Finish my drabbles and try to be on time with them.

    • Edit my NaNo novel and post it on my LiveJournal.

    • Create a LJ for fanfic and original fic, so that other people can read my works and I can expand my writing a bit.

    • Try not to let these goals interfere with my schoolwork.

I'll stick to two, a general and a specific, since I only had three last year and still failed one and a half of them ...

    1) Write a long story in my far-past miniverse. With chapters and everything.

    2) Keep writing and do it more.

Sadly, my resolution will be to spend less time doing fanfic than last year. I'm closing in on 30,000 words on my original novel and want to get a draft finished before I do much else. I do want to finish everything that I'm currently working on (well, except for Wife of Deceit, where it's a 5-book series and I'm only on book 3). And I want to write at least two songfics.
