Awards 2009 Saga Fanfiction Awards -- Voting Is Now Closed - Ceremony This Saturday At Noon Board Time!

In the Non Human character category, it only lists the title of 'Ahsoka Tano: The Legacy' without the name of the character nominated. Probably meant to put Ahsoka there. Just letting you know.

Have the lists been recently updated?

 

You can always check the time of the last edit.

 

I'm checking out some of the stories that other people have nominated and the links don't work, is there a reason for this?

I saw "I, Rebel" listed twice under Best All-Around.

 

The link for Reminiscences of Better Times, under Best Romance, doesn't work. This is the correct link.

Under Best Response To A Challenge, the link to To Count The Stars doesn't work. The link to Innocence Lost leads to a wrong (non-fanfic) thread.

My Master is listed twice under Best Humor. So is I, Rebel under Best All Around.

In Best Canon Interpretation, Male, the link to Innocence Lost leads to the wrong thread. The link to Maybe doesn't work.

The lists will be updated later today. We haven't forgotten, and we'll see if we can't get those broken links fixed.

 

I think part of the problem is that the links are not broken in the template in the first post of this thread (now I realize that's why I sent them wrongly). If you fix that, at least the last-minute noms will come in in the right way.

Both lists are updated and now I'm on my way to bed. If there are any booboos I've overlooked don't hesitate to point them out.

It's possible that it was just overlooked, Thumper, I'll check on it and see. Last week was a bear with DRL. I had a health scare about mid-week, which was around the time you sent that. Hopefully this week will be improved. I'm doing a full recheck tonight of every nomination we've received from beginning to end to make sure everything's correct.

I was surprised and delighted to see that I've been nommed for "Best Author." However, since I had the honor of winning in that category way back in ... oh, I'm guessing '03?... way back in the dark ages before the boards split, anyway ... I'm not eligable for that award.

I really appreciate the thought, though.

 

Are the qualifiers receiving PMs again this year to tell us what qualified and what we need to send excerpts in for? Those were really helpful...

Sorry for not catching this sooner, but I noticed that my "name" is spelled wrong on both lists... On the list it says, Alasse_Eafalas, but it should say Alasse_Earfalas.

My Female OC's name is spelled wrong as well. Her name is Aila Bennet-Kenobi. The record in the qualified and master list says Alia so the "l" and the "i" need to be flipped to correct it.

 

Both mistakes are now corrected on both lists. Thanks for pointing them out. We can never have too many eyes checking things over.
