I've got a bit of a question: what do you do if you think that the dare you got has already been done this year?

 

I might do my own version. The same idea can take very different forms under different authors.

I love my dare but I'm seeing the days tick by with minimal writing on my part. I keep getting distracted by Chinese food. ^_^'' Who knew that it was so much better in China than anywhere else? Trying to write while traveling was a challenge in itself.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be scrambling in right under the deadline. Yes?

 

My computer randomly got rid of my dare while I was sleeping night before last. That's okay, I already have an ulcer...

NOT. A. CLUE. How to start... a failure at dare, am I.

 

Well, I've started mine, and I've chosen several things to fill aspects of the dare I received, now, all I have to do is keep it within the 2,500 word limit. The one thing I hate about this dare is it requires me to bold certain quotes. I HATE having to bold something. It feel it takes away from the story. Whoever made this dare... no, I won't say it. *stalks off mumbling Corellian obsenities*

 

I'm still working on mine. It's getting long, and I've only finished about half of the requirements.

Repeat dares/people who have been given the same one? Doesn't that diminish the challenge a bit?

 

Perhaps it was accidental that Striker and I were given the same dare. At least, that's what I assumed.

Um, silly question here, is the dare fic due tonight at midnight or is it due tomorrow at midnight? The rules stated it was due by the 14th, not on the 14th.

 

Were this years' dares too outrageous or how come we only have a handfull of stories so far?

Well... at least one of us had illness-induced writer's blankness, Ceillean. Other than that? No idea.
