Mod!Challenge 2010 Dare Challenge! *****Dares Listed Pg 8!*****

As far as I know, I'm the only one who had to write the Star Wars version of Jersey Shore, now known as Republica Floor.

 

Dares will be due by midnight, board time, tomorrow the 14th.

 

How is it that three people received the same dare?

Just wondering.

 

Me too, actually - and does that mean there are a couple of dares that aren't being written because of it? If so.... I'm game to try another one!

 

Okay, three is just flat out ridiculous.

 

So, on Monday, I'm going on an extended leave of not-signing on. Can whoever gave me the dare please let me know who you are by then?

 

Okay, so I finally got my dare done... I'm pretty sure the job is botched at least a little though, it just didn't seem to work

I really enjoyed this dare. 2,500 words really wasn't enough. I'm definitely going to make this the first chapter of something larger.

 

was on a roll until the basement flooded... I'm determined to finish though, even if it's not on time.

 

Deadlines, schmeadlines. They're more like guidelines anyway.

The One That Got Away

 

Five and a half hours late, but considering how I gave up on this days ago and then reconsidered my decision around 10pm last night, I'm pretty pleased with myself. Anyway, it's obviously not in the running, but I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless.

So did we run out of dares or something because three people have one and then two people just did mine. I'm confused.

 

I'm confused, too, because if everyone submitted a dare to receive a dare, then there should have been just a big dare trade-off. I don't see how we could have run out of dares, yet somehow we had a whole bunch of repeats... which did kind of take the edge off the whole thing.

 

Very odd.

And kind of sad that there hasn't been a Mod response yet.

 

People have been asking for at least a page or two now. There no way is hasn't been noticed. The lack of response is very disappointing.

 

As far as the dares go, all were sent out. My best guess as to why duplicates were sent is that they appeared on our Master list twice.

Sorry that wasn?t noticed but we, the mods, are human. We also have lives so if a prompt response to any questions or concerns is ever needed, feel free to send it via PM. We are not ignoring anyone, especially in this thread, but we generally do not check the challenge threads on a daily basis.

That being said, there are also dares that were not written, so if anyone wishes to give up the one they received, you are free to do so now. You can either post it here or check with those who?ve indicated they are willing to write another dare to see if they want it.

Also, there is one dare left that is so manically evil and twisted?I don?t know if anyone dares?but it is available. If you?d like to give it a shot, just ask, but remember I warned you.
