All the series (except Chicago) are now split.

Hopefully the Pens get a Sunday afternoon game that I can catch online sometime before the playoffs are over. They had a Caps game on a few nights ago, so at least some of the games get rebroad cast here. Unfortunately, I don't know any Hungarian (besides mamut - mammoth :p), so really can't check the listings too well.

    Lordy.

I bet Detroit wishes they had gotten San Jose, the Canucks, anybody but Phoenix.

Sharks and Avs are about to head into OT tied 0-0. Even I have to admit that Anderson is playing an AMAZING game with 50 saves so far. He is the only reason the Avs are in this game as his teammates have only 16 shots on goal. Win or lost I have to give him props.

    Go Sharks!!!

    EDIT:... I don't want to live...:_|

    Pens beat the Sens. :D

Flyers are up 2-1 on the Devils. I don't like either team, but I'll take my chances against the Flyers rather than the Devils.

How'd the Leafs do again this year Boba? Dead last? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Did that go off O'Reilly's stick or did the defender just shoot it in past Nabokov? :p

It's kind of fitting that a goal like that would decide that game. It was pretty obvious that nothing was going to get past Andy.

O'Reilly was given credit for the goal so apparently it did. I'm actually kind of surprised it went in because Nabokov was hugging the post pretty tight.

The Sharks announcers seemed convinced it was an own-goal. It all happened so fast and I haven't watched the replay since it happened so I can't really say.

The replays I saw seemed inconclusive. I like to think that O'Reilly's stick made an impact, whether he actually touched the puck or not.

    The Sharks are snake-bit.

    The Canucks, too.

Everyone repeats it so often, they become convinced of it themselves.

That said, there are a fair number of head cases on that team.

The Canucks' problem is a complete lack of mental toughness.

Ryan O'Reilly said on the radio today that the puck just barely touched his stick. So it sounds like the goal was a result of a combination of the forecheck on Dan Boyle and maybe just a slight redirection of the pass.

So much for the Habs upsetting Washington. Reality has set in there. If the Sharks play the way they did in Game 3 in Game 4, then it shouldn't even be close. The odds of Anderson having that type of game again are slim. Then again this is the Sharks, they'll shoot themselves in the foot.

This. The Avs have yet to beat the Sharks this series. San Jose just keeps beating themselves. :(
