My biggest goal is to finish my Syal Antilles trilogy by the end of November, but I'm also hoping to carry a Diary Challenge fic to completion as well.

    1. Complete the 2011 Dear Diary Challenge

    2. Write the epic that's been swirling around in my head for Nanowrimo 2011

    3. Take care of all the other plot bunnies on my list - TWO WRITTEN, ONE IN PROGRESS

    4. Focus on a romance that does not involve Luke and Mara, just for poodoo and giggles - COMPLETED!

Well, I met my 2010 resolution: at least one drabble every single day. Why not continue it for 2011?

    1. Match the success that I had with the first story in my epic trilogy with my second and third stories

    2. COMPLETE the trilogy and not leave it undone.

    My fanfic resolutions

    1. Finish my three epics. I know where they end, I just need to get there.

    2. Finish my Dear Diary Challenge and get my OC more developed.

    3. Write whatever small viggie comes into my head.

    4. Develop my characters more for sequels in Beyond.

    5. Start my sequel to Never say Never.

    Last year's [link=http://boards.theforce.net/fan_fiction_resource/b10304/30661012/p1]Thread of (broken) Resolutions[/link]
I hope it is the right one.

And man, did I fail spectacularly on almost all accounts. I should have put NaNo in there.

    This year:
1.) Maybe finish TRIDU this year. I can't keep writing it forever. >.<
2.) Do the diary challenge (Should be impossible for me now, shouldn't it? [face_laugh] )
    3.) Keep updating Conversion
    4.) Finish some old stuff

I think it's quite simple for me:

    1. Find ways to increase readership.
    2. Find ways to increase readership.
    3. Find ways to increase readership.

I think that's pretty direct, though struggling against the apparent disinterest in innovative stories about OCs in new parts of the galaxy seems to be an uphill slog.

    1. Write no new crossovers, although it's more of a dare with Darthishtar.

    2. Write a lot of Doctor Who, since she can't write that fandom. [face_devil]

    3. Write more, get more readers and improve my work.

    1. Write a lot more regularly.
    2. Successfully do the Diary challenge.
    3. Finish Wife of Deceit.
    4. Make myself cry with my own writing at least once.

    1) Get to work on the AU involving Xanatos and Obi-Wan that's been gathering dust in my head.
    2) Work on the SW/SPN crossover that's been waiting in my files.
    3) Finish up a certain few stories.

EDIT: Thanks for the link, Etain! :D

    1) Done!
    2) A matter of opinion... but I think I did.
    3) Failed -actually, no. I succeeded. I just didn't finish it.
    4) Failed.
    5) Failed. :p

I only have one fanfic resolution--

To complete a Beyond story after I finish LotF.

    Let's see how it goes!

first Happy New Year all of you[face_dancing]

And this is what I am going to do:
    1. finish two diaries with my OC healers
    2. finish Reunion and the fanart accompanying it
    3. do challenges

Yeah...been trying to find a resolution to that one ever since I've been on the boards. Good luck with that, and PM me when you find the answer!

You may want to finish your story now; IMO, LOTF will make it look like a masterpiece.

    [face_laugh] madmann :D

I think I got maybe 1 of 6 goals done from last year, but that's not going to stop me from making new goals I won't keep :p

    1. Finish my UDC5 drabbles for Saga and NSWFF (and complete further UDCs on time).

    2. Finish the diary challenge on time.

    3. Finish my 2010 diary.

    4. Finish Halcyon Fate (may need to un-autolock that . . .).

    5. Write a multi-part NSWFF story.

    6. Participate in more challenges.

Just like Mechalich, find a way to get more people to read. But all anyone in the Before boards likes to read are Obi-Wan/Qui-Gonn stories; OCs don't seem to pique the interest. /dramatic sigh

Otherwise, the only other resolution would be to finish "Republic and Rebellion" and then hopefully start on my Mandalorian/Revan story.

    Cheers to 2011 everyone!

Happy New Year to every one! [:D] My 2011 fanfic resolutions:

    1) finish Quagmire, part 1 without losing the readers I have :p
    2) write 2/3 of part 2 and have the rest figured out
    3) write at least one viggie apart from that

I take the opportunity to apologize for all the many, great stories I haven't found time to read in 2010 - I know there were plenty! And therefor my fourth resoultion will be to:

    4) read more other people's stories

Finish off Invincible. Start my own LotF trilogy (as a 4th author between Denning and Traviss).

    Not much. [face_laugh]

I agree with most of you. it's really hard to find readers, and that would be a resolution for me except if it means giving up on my current project, that's not going to happen. It may have only one reader, but that one reader seems absolutely thrilled with my work so far.

So if I get new readers, great, but I plan on focusing more on the quality of my current project.

    My fanfic resolutions are:

    1. to write something every day, even if it's just a sentence!

    2. finish my WIPs for Harry Potter (1), Smallville (2), and Star Wars (2). I really need to work on finishing things before starting on something else. *sigh*

    3. leave more FB for other great stories that I read.

Looking back at last years I failed spectacularly! I did complete NaNo though, so I guess that's something! :)

    1. Not attempt the large challenges (Diary, UDC, etc.) no matter how much I want to at the time. I just can't keep up with them and then I feel all depressed about it. :(

    2. Complete and post the story I've been working on!

    3. Edit and attempt to get a story into the archives. (Specifically I Do, Promise but there are a few others that I would like to re-edit as well)

    4. Write more!

    5. Win Nano without having to come down to the last minute.

Write more responses to challenges, instead of just plotting them out in my head.

    1. Write.
    2. Participate in JulNoWriMo. (Which is like NaNo, but happens in July instead.)
    3. Write a story for Before the Saga.
    4. Finish So They Met In a Bar...

Edit: From the [link=http://boards.theforce.net/fan_fiction_resource/b10304/29594316/p3]2009 Resolutions[/link] Thread (as I did not participate for the 2010 one)...

    2. Write the back story for Small Comfort.

    In progress.

    3. Um... write more.

    Working on it...

    4. Write a boards version of the Wave Ranger back story for the NSWFF.

    [link=http://boards.theforce.net/non_star_wars_fan_fiction/b10808/29681236/p1/?81]Mission accomplished.[/link] :D [link=http://boards.theforce.net/non_star_wars_fan_fiction/b10808/31079855/p1/?2]Twice.[/link]

    5. Try to tackle a Before Era story. (I know... don't try. Do.)

    Haven't done it yet.

    6. Take part in NaNoWriMo.

    Um... sort of?

    7. Continue "So they met in a bar"... and finish it.

    Story in progress.

I'm keeping it simple this year: FINISH BLUE SIDE.

It's the same resolution I've had for the last three, maybe four years. And I have my Monday night writing group that I can go to, which helps! But I'm closing in on it, and really, it is time for this fic to end! :p
