I'm right next to the Museum of Nature & Science (colorado & 17th) ....not really close to I-25, but easy to connect to I-25N via 270.

Let me know if that doesn't work, Jonathan. I'm wearing my Hoth Comm Tech, so you can borrow my lightsaber again if you want to go with Luke.

(Been preoccupied this week. Stupid taxes.)

8.5. I'll check the costume and sizing out this afternoon, if that will work for you.

    Awesome!

I would love to be able to borrow your lightsaber again, QHM. Even if I wear the X-Wing pilot, a lightsaber is a fabulous prop/addition. Thanks!

Happy to help, brother. We had a good time painting a Hoth float with frozen fingers. Very appropriate.

I overheard DH say that Vader won't be at the parade. That's too bad.

Saturday morning forecast: 10% chance of precipitation. High of 58 and low of 39 with scattered cries of "Chewie!"

    See everybody on Saturday morning!

Got confirmation that we can stage from Wings Over the Rockies Saturday morning. We'll bring the float to WOTR Friday and our wonderful weekend facilities manager will let us keep it in the hangar overnight, and let us in to get it first thing in the morning.

So, we'll leave from WOTR at 8:30AM, on the dot. If you want to park your cars at WOTR to set up carpools to the parade grounds, you'll be parked safely there.

It's come to my attention that you guys might need a Vader for this gig. So, if someone can please confirm one way or the other, that would be great. As it stands right now, I'm available. However, my schedule fills up quickly so if I don't hear back soon, I may not be. As near as I can tell, based on Zoo's scanned docs, staging begins @ 9 AM around 27th & Blake. However, I also saw a reference to meeting at WotR at 8:30? Mr. Vader's not very vehicle-friendly, so I'm not sure if it would be practical for me to try to meet up @ 8:30 and pool over, but I'm open to suggestions. Otherwise, I'd just plan on tracking everybody down around 9 at the staging area for 1:53. Also, as Mr. Vader is a High Lord of the Sith, yadda yadda yadda, he's also a bit high-maintenance. So, if there's anyone who's interested in adopting the role of...babysitter...for the duration of the gig, it would be greatly appreciated. Typical duties involve the occasional cape adjustment and keeping his Lordiness from running afoul of any...equine-generated entanglements whilst en route. :)

Lastly, is this a canon gig, or would it be apropos to be adorned in additional wearin'-of-the-green style accoutrements?
