Chatt, TN 2014 - 1st quarter review

Wow! Everyone here is so talkative! BUT I see that these blurbs are being viewed, so I suppose it's good to keep on posting updates and such, so here's an update.

Let me back up into November of 2013 for a minute. I already posted about The Hobbit 2: The Desolation of Smaug, but forgot to mention the other stuff we did to close out 2013.

THOR 2!! With all the Marvel movies coming out, more and more of our members have put together costumes from the Marvel Universe. Makes sense since there'll be plenty of opportunity to wear them.

Next, we had our event for FROZEN. You know.. .the one with all the songs and stuff? I'm sure you've heard of it.We did two nights at Carmike East Ridge (or what we still call the (not) Rave). We've never done a Disney movie (straight up, Disney, that is), so lots of excitement over this one. I actually bought leiderhosen just for this thing... Surely I'll get more use out of it again...

We did an event at Walmart called Love Gives Wheels on Dec 7, 2013 in conjunction with the Salvation Army. Essentially, it was a bike drive for underprivileged kids at Christmas.

And of course, our annual Christmas party with the ever present Jawa Gift Exchange.

Switching gears to start 2014, we did I, Frankenstein. Being this was at the movie theater, and not EVERYONE there was going to see this, we couldn't go too crazy with the monster stuff.
