JCC 2014 Celebrity Deadpool (Congrats to our winner HL&S)

I read her obituary, and while it mentions her work in "The Omen" (very scary) and "The Krays", it didn't mention one role that I particularly liked: the voice of Aughra in "Dark Crystal". Fine actress.
When I was putting together today's "Today in History" post, I noticed that today is the anniversary of the passing of playwright Samuel Beckett, who wrote many works specifically for her. You can't make this stuff up.

 

I'll always like his version of "With a little help from my friends" best, even if it's in part due to Wonder Years nostalgia. He really knew how to cover a song and make it his own with that soulful gravelly voice of his. Lots of great original works as well.

 

Great original works? Well, songs written for him, or songs you didn't realise we're covers.

 

The only film of her's that I've seen is the 1987 The Secret Garden telefilm from Hallmark.

 

lol, I never knew how much of a Tom Jones he really was. I just read up on his discography.

I take it all back. I hope that son of a bitch rots in hell!

That is very sad news. "Dexter's Laboratory" is one of my favorite shows, and she did a great job as Dexter.

 

She also voiced Darkwing Duck's daughter. My childhood

 

Babe. Chuckie. Dexter. Gosalyn. Oblina. She pretty much encompassed the 90s golden era of television.

RIP.

 

Congrats to her on making it in before the New Years ball drops.

 

I was just thinking about who is going to be on my 2015 list. because priorities and stuff

 

I totally have dibs on Dakota Fanning.
