    That's awesome- great seats too! I have yet to attend a racing event (F1, Indy, Nascar), yet remain a huge fan of all three circuits. I have heard that being there live makes all the difference in motorsports.

    I went to an IndyCar practice session in Portland once. Yeah. I'm that cool.

    Hey, that's better than me!

    And as for Williams, that is great news- especially if Maldonado sticks around, or if they catch any of the big teams' castoffs. Pastor showed he was capable last year, but is just terribly inconsistent. Obviously running Mercedes is a game changer.

    I want Bottas to succeed. I don't know why, i just think it would be great to see.

    Interesting; JB had a fantastic race in 2011 in the wet there but the McLaren's pace isn't there yet. So... Alonso?

    Looks like I'll be under my Lotus umbrella for practice and qually, but it might be a dry race.

    So, it's 3:45am and we're waiting for the race to start. I'm hoping against hope that Bottas can remain in the points...

    Good race, but obviously marred by the subsequant annoucement about the bizarre death of the Marshall;

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/22838287

    In terms of the race, was enjoyable, but I've seen better CGP. ;) Vettel's dominance goes on and you have to say it's beginning to look like ANOTHER championship winning year for Vettel and Red Bull...

    Meanwhile, I'm wondering what's going to be the upshot of this;

    Yeah it will be interesting, though Ross BRawn is too canny to have committed himself to something without FIA sanction.

    So, it's a political ****storm. Red Bull and Ferrari are complaining because they can, and Jean Todt wants a hearing because he supports French tyremaker Michelin returning.

    Certainly not surprising that he'd leave RBR given the continued deterioration of his relationship with Vettel, but I would have thought he'd stay in F1. I assume he didn't see an opportunity to move to another top team and decided to leave the circuit altogether than go to one of the weaker teams.

    Definitely a shame, a good driver and pretty stand up guy.

    Lewis on pole then for the British Grand Prix! We've been here before with Mercedes qualifying well then fading in the race. My guess is that Vettel or Webber will take the win - Let's hope it's Webber - As an "Honoury Brit" it would be nice if he won his final British Grand Prix. :D

    Where does Webber rank on the best-drivers-never-to-win-a-title list? I think I'd put him behind Coulthard.

    Great drive from Webber; another couple of laps and he'd have won it.

    Hamilton also did well to recover after his tyre went.

    Best of all: no points for Vettell. Alonso makes up some good points. Wahey!
