Thats good news. I heard Buzz speak a number of years ago. He was a tremendous storyteller.

Former BBC weatherman Ian McCaskill. He was 78 and had dementia. I remember him being on the news when I moved to the UK. He retired in 1998.

See now I'm reminded that we need to do a lot more Rock Rolling around these parts. Classic.

Not a celebrity... but very beautiful and sad, had to be shared somewhere...

    http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/terminally-ill-year-boy-dies-santas-arms-44143595

A Tennessee Santa Claus says a terminally ill 5-year-old boy died in his arms after he gave the child a present in the hospital.

The Knoxville News-Sentinel reports Eric Schmitt-Matzen, who does about 80 events a year as Santa, was asked a few weeks ago to visit the dying boy.

Schmitt-Matzen says he gave the child a toy. He says the boy gave him a big hug, asked "Santa, can you help me?" and died in his arms.

Very sad about Ian McCaskill's death. He was my favourite TV forecaster when I was a kid. So many happy memories of him doing the weather.

    RIP.

    Very upsetting. :_|

    Yep. And Bill Giles.

Back when TV weather forecasters were scientists first and presenters second. Now it's the other way around (and in the case of some they have absolutely no grounding in science at all)

    He hasn't necessarily died
Maybe he went deaf, blind or out of his mind

That's surprising. He and Florence Henderson were the two big shocks lately as both had been active and making appearances so recently. Alan was just on This is us a few weeks ago. Seemed healthy. Very sad to hear of his death.

However, if it's time for threes, I can think of a certain 70 year old blowhard I wouldn't mind seeing go.

Good God. I guess the official cause of death is his being a 69 year old celebrity in 2016.

Someone get around the clock protection and doctor observation for Sam Neill, Jonathan Banks, Ted Danson, Edward James Olmos, and Stephen King until January 1st please.
