Three Time World Champion! Get in there, Lewis.

Not only won Austin three times, but all from second place.

Is it possible that Hamilton let Rosberg win in Mexico just so that he would be the doofus wearing the Sombrero?

Rosberg fastest in free practice again.

I love how now that the Lewis has the championship sown up he is cruising and letting Rosberg lead, win, etc. Somehow it just kind of adds to Rosbergs humiliation... Like he can only really do well when Lewis isn't trying! [face_laugh]

Mods, can this be updated for 2016 please?

So, looks like Jost Capito from VW Motorsport is now McLaren's CEO. Interesting. Hopefully he can assist in turning around the Woking outfit's fortunes.

Also, a deal to have Aston Martin share sponsorship in the Force India cars is on hold. This would be useful to Findia, whose owners are basically all but broke (Vijay Mallaya and Roy Sahara).

The grid for 2016 so far:

    Mercedes (Mercedes)
    44 Lewis Hamilton¹ (GBR)
    6 Nico Rosberg (GER)

    Ferrari (Ferrari)
    5 Sebastian Vettel (GER)
    7 Kimi Raikonnen

    Williams (Mercedes)
    19 Felipe Massa (BRA)
    77 Valtteri Bottas (FIN)

    Red Bull (TAG-Heuer*)
    3 Daniel Ricciardo (AUS)
    26 Daniil Kyvat (RUS)

    Toro Rosso (Ferrari**)
    33 Max Verstappen (NED)
    55 Carlos Sainz Jr (ESP)

    Lotus (Renault***)
    13 Paydriver Maldonado (VEN)
    TBA Jolyon Palmer (GBR)

    Sauber (Ferrari)
    9 Marcus Ericsson (SWE)
    12 Felipe Nasr (BRA)

    Force India (Mercedes)
    11 Sergio Perez (MEX)
    27 Nico Hulkengerg (GER)

    Haas (Ferrari)
    8 Romain Grosjean (FRA)
    21 Esteban Gutierrez (MEX)

    McLaren (Honda)
    14 Fernando Alonso (ESP)
    22 Jenson Button (GBR)

    Manor-Marussia (Mercedes)
    TBA
    TBA

¹ Lewis Hamilton elected not to exercise his right to run a temporary number 1 on his car for the second year running
    * Red Bull formally ended their association with Renault, and are running a Renault power unit branded as a TAG-Heuer engine.
** Scuderia Toro Rosso lost their Renault engine as a result of Red Bull and Renault's relationship. They will run 2015 spec Ferrari engines
*** Renault return to F1 having purchased its old team at Enstone - now running as Lotus.

With the plummeting oil prices, Venezuela were unable to meet the upfront sponsorship fee for Pastor Maldonado, at Renault.

BBC are reporting that Kevin Magnussen has replaced him.

Anyone know what happened with Jenson Button and his wife, divorced after less than a year? I am wondering if being at the back of the grid presented some kind of honour dilemma for her family back home in Japan.

Vettel fastest in testing today ahead of Hamilton. Is there hope for a competitive championship this year?

Seriously, if it looks like Mercedes is going to run away with it again this year, I'm routing for that talentless **** Rosberg just so Hamilton, a giant **** in his own right, doesn't make it 3 in a row.
