    Also worth mentioning is his wily villainous turn in the first John Wick. He was pitch perfect in that; he got laughs out of me with just the tiniest things, like the way he just briefly furrows his brow when Willem Dafoe hands him the glass of juice or the way he just slowly turns around when his nephew casually remarks that the guy he screwed over was John Wick. He perfectly nailed the tone of that movie.

    Wow. The word "iconic" gets used more than it should; I mean, usually we're grieving the loss of someone and we want them to feel even more important than they were, so who can blame us? But Romero? His art was and remains iconic. No exaggeration.

    Both Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead are among my favorite movies of all time. And I'm not even a big zombie fan. Romero's movies are simply that good.
