Whether Hamilton win's or not, there will be a LOT of ramifications from this race for the rest of the season.

Hamilton will win the championship on the double pointer last race. If it was single points, he'd come second

So Ricciardo put's in an extraordinary drive to win. Lewis put's in an extraordinary drive to go from last to third and in the process bitch slaps Rosberg. Crashes, safety cars galore. Did I miss anything? [face_laugh]

And from a Championship perspective - The gloves are well and truly off! Second half of the season will be epic between Hamilton and Rosberg, IMO.

    Be more unlikable, Mercedes.

    In other news... DANNY RICCIARDO

Will Hamilton be out of the Mercedes at the end of the year?

Nope, he's got a solid contract and no reason to go. I love that shot of Rosberg, heels1785. You can just see the ramifications of the other kids not doing what the rich kid wants. I love that he could not pass a Toro Rosso and had to resort to dobbing them in to race control. Lewis has now finished on the podium after starting back down the field (or even the pit land) and there's no doubt Rosberg couldn't accomplish that.

In F1, all contracts are solid... Until there not. ;)

We can clearly see there's no loved lost between Lewis and Nico and we can clearly see (as if we didn't know it already) that Mercedes are biased to their German driver, so if it becomes a "he goes or I go" situation, Merc will obviously want to keep Rosberg and get rid of Hamilton.

    I sense troubled waters...

THere seems to be a bit of chatter about this on Autosport, actually. Hmmm.

How about a swap between Vettel and Hamilton?

All German line-up at Mercedes and Lewis to Red Bull.

Nah ok, from reading... Lewis seems safe. And he was right not to let that little **** through.

Of course he was. Rosberg was not close enough to be able to argue that he was being held up. It was outrageous for Mercedes to tell Lewis to get out of the way.

My mother is so up in arms about it all that she say's she's trading in her Merc A-Class this week! [face_laugh]

I told her not to do anything rash. ;)

I think Lewis' next move will be to Ferrari in 2-3 years. Kimi seems to be unhappy there, at the moment.

Oh man. There's a portly American bloke who owns a NASCAR team, and his name is actually Chip. Jesus. Make it harder for me, 'murica!

Also, looks like Montoya's, erm, fitting into the wider waistline philosophy.

    LOL!

I remember when Montoya was brought into F1 with much fanfare.Didn't really think he was much good, though it was at a time when the Schu/Ferrari combination was at it's peak.

Some better results will cure all that I think. As for Lewis in a Ferrari? As long as Alonso isn't there. I was so so happy to see the Scuderia do well. I knew Riccardo was going to pass FA because he had the fresher tires, but I'm happy about the result nonetheless.

Also, Nico needs to grow up and drive. There is no need for multiple calls to the pits asking why isn't Hamilton moving. I would have said "He's not moving over because it's racing Nico!"

Love the irony in the German courts saying "Give us £60m and we'll stop your bribery case"
