25 Years Ago Today - John Belushi

Didn't realize until it popped up on my CNN link that 25 years ago today we lost John Belushi. And I'm still angry at him for the way he died. I can still remember the TV scenes of that body bag being wheeled away and knowing that John was in it. Still remember the shock at how he died (ok everyone knew what he "did," but it was John and just a part of him. Remember thinking and talking with friends about "what's Dan (Akroyd)going to do now?" (Between him and River Phoenix people wonder why I'm so anti-drug!).

Still to this day..watch the SNL's with him in it, watch his films and laugh just as hard as the first time I ever saw him.

John ...you and your genius are still missed. And hopefully "up there" someone is still kicking your butt for cutting that genius down way before it's time.
