A friend of mine knows someone that works at Toys R Us and she told him that a flier went around about the R2 but it didnt say anything about when it will be out and what you would have to buy, just that there is one coming. I guess the local scalper knows about the R2 and im sure him and his stupid f'n cronies will be there to try and get them all Good thing the friend is supposed to hold one for me and my friend

I just read on Rebelscum that the R2 is on sale in Spain. Its being sold by TRU for 23.99 EURO which is about $23 US.

You guys are gonna love this. Brianstoys.com has the R2-D2 in stock for sale at $149.99. Mind you, Brianstoys is the greediest and overpriced online seller of Star Wars toys there is. I even think theres a "I hate Brianstoys" message board here on TFN some where.
