To continue the tradition started by Salt City Jedi on Jan 30th 2005, The Rebellion has volunteered to host the 2nd Annual Regional FanForce Holiday Dinner and Gift Exchange.

OK, we're on to the next phase...

What I need from folks now are food preferences. Please head over to the food options thread and select your 3 favorite choices.

We are now on to the next phase of the banquet planning.
I have updated the first post in this thread with all the newest details.
The biggest update being that the price has been set at $15 per person in advance or $20 per person at the door.
Please don't hesitate to ask me questions about any detail of this event.

why r they charging more at the door, thats crazy..... its a restaurant......

 

As our banquet will be buffet style our order must be placed one week in advance. A majority of the cost is locked in at that time. The difference in price is to encourage pre-registration so that we can ensure the best banquet possible. Pre-registration will be used to determine the final menu and also ensures that there is no financial risk to those hosting the banquet.

The other option would be to not allow people to pay at the door at all and only have pre-registration like they had at the FanForce/501st/RL dinner at CIII.

I understand its just that we paid for our own at the lest one so it didnt come out of anyones pocket. I guess I just hate to see anyone have to go to that length is my point.

Today is the deadline for pre-registration, however for those who can't afford to pay until payday (Friday) you can still pay the pre-reg amount until 11:59pm Friday night. That's the absolute cut-off as I will be placing the food order Saturday morning.

Photos from my camera are now uploaded! I apologize in advance for the potential neck cramp you'll receive viewing these. I have to manually rotate all of the portrait photos and haven't finished that part yet. If there are any photos that you'd rather not have online - just let me know and I'll take them down. I'm still also working on weeding out the duplicates so right now there's still 175+ pictures up there.
