Syra, NY 2nd Annual Salt City Picnic

I have up'ed this thread since the picnic is coming up.
We will need to decide a menu of some sort.
Here everyone can sign up for what dish they r bringing.

Since we dont need to pay for the pavillion where we are going if everyone wants I can go pick up the meat(s) and I can collect a 5.00 donation from everyone to cover the cost......

I will pick up Chicken,hamburg and hotdogs from sams if thats ok......... let me know.

If we are set on that then we can all toss out ideas what else to bring........ sound ok?

 

So I got rather lost, where are we going for this again?

As for what we're bringing, that's up to Drogon.

 

we dicussed the location at the meeting already. Directions will be sent via yahoo group.

Everyone needs to post what they r bringing in this thread so we know what we have.
If I am bringing meats then everyone will need to bring 5.00 and also the following things will be needed:

Hamburger/hotdog buns - karate-jedi
condiments ie: Ketchup,mustard, mayo etc -
Napkins
Paper plates
Sodas, beverages -chang
Chips, snacks
Pasta Salad - padawan drogon
cold cabbage salad - websjedi
hamburgers,hotdogs - strawbary

As for me, Raef, and Darth, lets sign up for Hamburger & Hotdog buns, chips, and um...I guess cups and plastic utensils. However, at some point it would be useful to know how many are expected...

 

well, thats what the thread is for to see who is going........
you also do not need to sign up for all those things if you bring buns you will be bringing quite a bit so.....perhaps limit yourself to buns and cups?

If evreyone attends and with their families I am guestimating - almost 20?
Formal invites have been sent out to Rochester, buffalo and Niagara so we'll have to wait and see what numbes come from there as well

we had about 12 show up last year from our group and we were a much smaller group then

Also everyone bring your baseball gloves we will try to get a game going. There is a playground there, baseball fields and basketball courts

 

I talked to Jacqi, (my wife). She will be joining us also and she will make a pasta salad. So instead of hotdog and hamburger buns, we will bring the salad. I have no problem bringing the other things mentioned as well.

That makes 4 from my family. Me, my wife, Darth Arjuna, and Raef Wolfe.

I'll bring this nifty cold cabbage salad I learned how to make a few years back. It's tasty.

Alright, we're filming our movie starting the Sunday after, and someone is coming up from the New York City area to help us with it. I'm wondering... is he invited, should he be here in time?

I wanted to chime in and give you an update on our group.

We went around the room at the last meeting and the majority of our group cannot make it to your picnic. Thats not to say that some of us won't try to come, but the majority will not be there.

So I wanted to thank you personaly for the invite and ask that you still forward some directions to me for the members who will be comming. I will try to be there but no promises

Hey patrick looks like you can bring some soda (if you want) ........I would recommend bringing cans so we can toss it all in a cooler. (I'll be bringing oine with ice)

EDIT: we still have some spots open for things to bring......anyone want to bring anything else on the list?

 

I have a bit of trouble with work at the moment and it looks like they will not give me the day off. I might be looking at doing a sicky but, I will be there for the meeting before hand and I will still be bringing the rolls. I just don't know how long I will be able to stay.

I am feeling very disapointed right now so, I'm going to drown my self in a few blue smoothies.

They have said they want me in at 11am but I'm trying to get the later shift so I will be in at 5pm. If everything works out

I will be there for the whole day. I told them at work that I was going to pull a sicky so they let me have the day off.

I don't know if Lynda will be there.

I run all of there staff...finding another one of me is very hard to find.....
