So NV 2nd Southern Nevada Jedi Draft

Gerson, your team is good, but you took Ragnos WAY too early, in my humble opinion.

I think that he fits in very well with my team and his master is on my team so that may help my cohesion a little. Overall he is the best fit on my team and we are glad to have him. The only thing I have to say is, "Watch out!"

I know. That is the same thing I thought last draft, and well you all know what happened. This time I have focused on more power and skill. I think that I amm definately going to be tough to beat.

 

Plo is a great pick at 5 so good pick Petra! Gerson, you have a good team however I feel a few of your darksiders particularly Marka went way to early. Naga and Sid are great picks and Bane is a solid #5.

 

Well like I said, my team isn't done yet. And I think you just threw a kink in Jank's plan. I think he was talking about Darth Bandon finishing out his team.

EDIT: In my opinion, a dark side team needs to have Master/Apprentice combos in it in order to be successful in team fights... Otherwise the Sith are all trying to be top dog... The championship team listed above has 3 Master/Apprentice combos and Battle Meditation with Sidious:

I know I didn't do any round synopsi, but I'll make it up by doing a very in depth Team Analysis for each team once drafting had completed.

Everyone's teams are good. Luminara's team is looking very good as well. She was very smart to take Arca Jeth, another great user of Battle Meditation.

 

Just to clear things up:

yeah i was gonna say...it hasn't been proven that Sidious did in fact have BM

 

Moron, it hasn't been stated that Thon uses BM, if I recall. I thought he did too, but at second glance, that might not be the case.

And I'm not too sure on Sadow either.

 

It has been suggested that Sidious does use BM in some form. If I remember correctly Joruus C'Boath (the clone) also has BM capabilities. Thrawn wanted him for this reason and he knew the power of it by witnessing Sidious.

 

Sadow defiantley has it.

 

As far as BM is concerned, yes, Thon and Nomi both practise it. Arca Jeth does so also, in an underrated manner - if you read through TOTJ: The Sith War there's one time where Ood B'nar tells Nomi that "Thon is good at [battle meditation] . . . Arca was even better."

I was reviewing the draft board and I came across something that I think needs to be brought to everyone's attention. Why do Anakin and Obi-Wan go before Dooku? Dooku single handedly took them both out. Is it because Anakin and Obi-Wan are overrated or is it because Dooku is underrated? I think that Dooku should go before both of them in the first round. Obi-Wan should be late first round and Anakin early second round. I just thought I would bring that up.

We all know for a fact that Anakin gets A LOT more powerful. And since that technically isn't a spoiler, I think we have to factor that in when judging Anakin.

Yes, but see we cannot use anything excpt for I, II, IV, V, VI, and the EU to judge this draft. Therefore Anakin weaker than Dooku in the first movies and in the later movies and EU is non-existant. Obi-Wan on the other hand is also not as powerful as Dooku in the early movies and in the EU and later movies is an old man that gets killed by Vader. So I don't know I still think that Dooku should be taken ahead of both of them.

 

Look at it this way, if he had been taken earlier, you wouldn't have him in your team. So why are you complaining?

Besides, I had him in my team last draft and he didn't do much to help my team, the judges had him lose a lot of fights I thought he would have won by the same reasoning you're using. So don't get your hopes up. You never know...

 

Wow there is a certain Jedi that is on the board that I can't believe is still on the board.


And there is eu out there post geonosis that shows how powerful Anakin has become.
