And it couldn't happen to a nice team.

Surely we have to be dark horses for the World Cup now.

I'm sure Mark Waugh did this so he could put some money on down the bookies.

One of the best series EVER imo.

The 10-wicket win in wellington, I didn't think could be topped.

Then came Auckland, centuries to Hussey and Taylor, 2nd biggest run chase ever (lasted only for 2 days)

Then Hamilton, Hayden how good was that innings, HUGE! NZ 40-4 chasing 347 it couldn't be done......or could it. Macca and his SMASHER bat, fastest century in NZ and not forgetting Fulton, Gillespie and of course McCullum.

Aussies have now lost the 4 biggest chases in histiry (3 to NZ)! [face_dancing]

And we play the odd spot of Rugby too. Hardly seems fair, doesn't it?

But, at the end of the day, we're still not New Zealand so really, winnar is us.

I should sheepishly retire from these baaaaaaaaad attempts at nationalism.

    Sorry, what? ;)

Nothing that concerns you, my son, although being my one and only, I think it's about time I taught you in the ways of real football ;)

Hey! I know what real football is: soccer. I'm not a rugby/afl fan. :p

...but I don't watch soccer outside of the world cup.

Lee out of the World Cup will surely mean certain entrance for Stuart Clarke.

It does. Quoth the first line of the linked article:

"Stuart Clark will replace Brett Lee in Australia's World Cup squad after Lee was ruled out with an ankle injury."

Wait! I do know something... let's see now... ah-ha! lol @ Arsenal

    Eh, that'll do :p

And to be honest, Clark is better then Lee. Lee's all about breakneck speed, Clark has pace and movement off the pitch which can offer up alot more chances on the right night.

I couldn't understand why Clark wasn't in the side to begin with. He's easily become my #1 Australian bowler since McGrath's now edging out.
