If you all thought I was talking about the movie that has just come out, then Fooled you!!!!!! (and it's not even April 1st)

No, this is a celebration for our 300th topic on FFUK: North. Not a bad number considering we've only been around for less than 2 years. I missed out the 10'000th post celebration on here, so I'm making up for it right now with this.

And on another note, ForceGhostofCozmic has now been officially named as the Assistant CR for the Northern Boards. His job will entail being my eyes and ears in the North West, slapping down on any opposition and ruling in my name with an iron fist...

*cough*

...I mean, he'll be performing CR duties for the North West when you guys have your local meets, and he and I can work together when organising NE/NW meets, such as the meet we just had in Manchester to meet Maggy.

So uhm...celebration time!

*opens bottle of champagne*

Here's to 300 topics on the North, Cozmic's new title, and I suppose we can celebrate Hal's promotion to RSA while we're at it!

Congrats to Mr Coz on getting the recognition he deserves, sorry I couldn't give you that title whilst still RSA, you why that it didn't come about then. But good times are ahead, let's see more NW based members. Here's to a golden age for FF-UK North and for the smaller localised group of North by Northwest

 

It's all good, it seems everyone was happy for it to happen so it was going to happen at some point.

So small there's only three of us I'm really looking foreward to what the future has in store for the North and more so for the NW. Hopefully we'll be just as strong as the NE

 

I'm 100% certain you guys can attract a lot more members. It's a shame certain things happened to reduce your numbers, but such is life. As always, we shall look to the future and make sure we keep the North active, attractive and...

to tell you the truth, dearest CR, i don't even have the faintest idea what they all mean i think assertive was the thing they recommended you to become in the tutor groups. does that help?

By the way, since the Regional is getting a new banner do you think o'great CR that we should have a new one too or should we just keep Tim's great little piece of work?

 

I suppose a new banner could be good. Is there anyone else apart from Tim who can design banners, though?

 

I have some skill with Photoshop, and I know that Leigh is working on one for Regional.
