It is said that these are due out Late 2006/Early 2007. It looks like many of these will simply be repacks, but let's hope they improve on some, such as Yarael Poof and Kit Fisto, who have had less than likeable figures in the past.

 

Why do we need imaginary figures? Where's the Galactic Marine, where's the Kasshyyk scout? Don't give us some random droid and some darth maul in training figure.

Yeh, I must say I'm a little disgusted about having a billion more of the same figures we've already had five times over.

ELITE CRPS CLONE TROOPER could be Gree's troop.

 

It sounds like a cool list to me... and it's only partial of what's to come in 2007. This might just be the start of the line, which could hit as early late fall. The new Clones are most exciting... a holo Commander Cody makes much sense since he's the only one still needed to complete the ROTS scene. Hopefully Appo will be the SA Clone sculpt. Other Clones are pretty much a given for next year based on recent info, including the Galactic Marine/Bacara's Trooper. It's sure going to be a good year for collecting, albeit an expensive one.

Other than that Fan's Choice line of a few characters, when will Hasbro start giving the customers more of a chance to let them know what we really want. I tell ya what I want. What I really really want.

from galactic hunter:The first new figures for 2007 will include the Mygeeto Space Marine, Mustafarian Miner, Utapau Airborne Trooper, McQuarrie Stormtrooper (repaint), and more. There will be 8 waves in 2007, each with 1 McQuarrie figure. Hasbro alluded to these being shortpacked and backpedaled after complaints.

Wow, there's going to be a Ralph McQuarrie figure in every 2007 wave? Cool! I hope, hope, hope they don't short pack these . I would hate to unleash the fury of a thousand hungry Wilford Brimleys on Hasbro, but I will do what I have to do.

DOn't know what to make of the whole coin holder, but I like the the look of the figure in the package.

Yeah, all those figures are for the FINAL wave of 2006. 2007 is starting up with some great NEW figures, and these are not those.

Are you nuts? There are 2 new clones, a brand new sculpt of Obi Wan as well as a few other new figures. I'd say 2007 is off to a great start.

 

That first 2007 wave looks fantastic! Vader I'm thinking is the Evolutions version. Mace seems to possibly be a slight retool of the Obi-Wan Pilot figure from ROTS, but he looks great nonetheless. Then R2 looks just awesome, the Super Battle Droid is the first new Super Battle Droid since 2002 with ball-jointed shoulders, and the Airborn Trooper looks fantastic. Oh, and I almost forgot the Galactic Marine. I can't say enough goo things about the way he looks. Obi-Wan looks to be repainted very nicely. The McQuarrie Stormtrooper repain looks kinda cool, but I think I liked the original version better. It looks like the 30th Anniversary Collection is off to a strong start. A very awesome wave all-around.
