My Ganesh, it's suddenly a Star Wars Bollywood film!

Everyone looked great ... looked like a very fine event.

We civilized "northerners" have these events for the public...

Does the southern region even have a library yet ?? Or for that matter, if they did would the people be able to read books ??

i am so tired from the last 3 days of costuming....but what a great time
friday at the library was an absolute blast!! kids everywhere asking heaps of questions and photos galore!!

i even had enough influence to get a girl to get her face painted like me
they didnt have a blue print so i modeled for it

LOL, come to think of it, all my very first contact with Star Wars, (books, videos,) all came from the Noarlunga Library, creepy.

I love the photo Jabba, though that girl's pretty brave painting her face like a Maldorian. (esspecialy with certain authors sudden obsession with them. )

We really should have a "yo momma" thread...

 

Noarlunga library is the biggest council library in the state. There's obviously a higher proportion of people down that end that *can* read...

 

Maybe they are yet to grasp teh internets...

I wouldnt know, but I'm happy sitting in my Western location right about now

 

Most of us up North can afford to BUY our OWN copies......



Seems that skipp has thrown his lot with the southerners...

 

Just goes to show there's always an exception to the rule.....

 

I sleep in a libray, my parents converted the rumpus room into a library two years ago, just about three-quarters of the back wall is covered with book shelves.

I just live in the Noarlunga Library some days because I don't have every book in the universe. (It just about does though, minus it's Russian History section. )

We were so grateful for their fantastic display and brilliant costumes. We had 2,500 people on the day with over 1000 children involved. You made alot of kids very happy...with comments like "I'll remember this for the rest of my life." and "we drove from Willunga and our son was in tears ( of happiness) to see the real Darth Vader."

We hope to have a "space" event in 2008 for International Year of Planet Earth, so I'll stay in touch.

I had sent her an email a while ago so she knew the Saff were interested. Happy to see Hunky take the reigns.
