3DS Max modeling ?, model organization

    If i want to modify a model, how can i scrap its object clusters? I just want like straight up mesh so I can go back and define my own groups.

    also how can i totally strip material from objects.

    ok i figured out the organizational problems but i still need help w/completly removing materials and clearing the library.

    in the material editor select the material you want and press the big X which is just below the second material column and above the blotter... that resets that material to default settings... just do that until all materials are deleted...
