3NS (back where it should be) - Check out Comms for our Future

I'm actually not totally sure why this happened, maybe Windy can fill us in. I've been pretty busy and haven't been keeping up with the developments in the Mod Squad.

Posting is still active, you'll just no longer find 3NS under "Star Wars Films", it's under "Inactive Forums".

 

I hope that this forum will not be merged into 3SA. Overall I still see no reason why we should not be allowed to keep this forum, it's not like 3NS kills babies or anything like that.

 

We've tried. We didn't get much support.

We'll have to find another solution, like say another message board.

We tried to delay the 3SA/3NS merge until a month after the ROTS DVD comes out, but that didn't go over too well either.

I tried reading 3SA today and boy, there are a lot of people there who are just bitter/snarky/mean for no real reason. I'm glad that that side of forum posting hasn't shown up in 3NS. I'll be here till the very end!

I see no reason why the site administration won't allow this forum to continue. It is a community of dedicated posters, something other forums should strive for. To ruin it, is tragic. Then again, the site administration isn't always reasonable.

Garth, could you tell us what the reasons were for not letting us keep this forum? I don't see any reason why we can't have it.

 

If we all post in comooonications maybe they will listen to us.

Guys, the important thing is...when we're all in 3SA full-time, spread the positivity and intelligence which you've all shown here. We can be a real boost for that forum.

 

Maybe we could set up a new forum, Invisionfree or something.

 

I cannot go into details here but there have been discussions of what to do, re what you are talking about, Ellbobin.

 

Over in coms, DarthSapient says the move was an honest mistake. He mixed the date up because today the spoiler restrictions are lifted.

The mistake will be fixed ASAP.

And Iäm glad to hear it!

Once this forum is gone everyone should put "proud former member of the 3NS" in their sigs to commemorate it!

 

Simply stated guys: one of our admins forgot that we were sticking around for the next month and moved us to the inactive board. Luckily, however, they fixed their mistake before any harm was done.

Seldon and I are in Communications currently trying to get the MS to reconsider their decision on this forum. It is highly unlikely that we will be successful, but it can't hurt to try. If it doesn't work out, Elbobins forums should.

 

Yes, if you have any opinions, feelings or general thoughts please share them in the Comms thread.

The mods have voiced their opinions in MS, but it probably can't hurt for all of us to express our thoughts on the subject as well.
