Aliens is my 2nd favorite movie ever only behind ROTJ. It fell behind AOTC initially but I think I like Aliens better. Aliens is one of the few movies I could watch every day along with the SW movies and The Road Warrior.

Casablanca :D. I know it's a bit overrhyped, but it really is almost as great as people make it out to be!

    After a long, serious meditating-monent:
    Das Boot (director's cut)

you know, the german submarine film?

Oh! That is one of the best movies EVER! I agree!

I'm not sure which is my 'favorite' film of all time. Depends on genre for me I guess :p

But Das Boot was sweet, subtitled only, no dubs. :) Favorite foreign film right there!

Dogma, Office Space, GoldenEye, Die Another Day, Austin Powers: Spy who Shagged me, Apollo 13, Patriot Games...as I said...a lot of movies I hold equal :p

    The Shawshank Redemption.

I never watched dramas before this movie. And it really touched me. I found it incredibly inspiring, and to this day I watch it whenever it comes on. I never get tired of it.

    Kind of like SW. :D

My favorite movie of all time: The Spitfire Grill. No doubt. I love that movie! It was a real sleeper when it came out. I'd recommend everyone see it. It's a chick-flick, certainly, but it's very well done and very poingnant (sp?).

I'm a big fan of the Bond series, and I'm probably as big a fan of it as I am of Star Wars.

I'd vote for Thunderball, which I believe is Connery's finest performance as 007. It has all the elements of a great action/adventure film - exotic locales, nifty gadgets, and hot babes, and this movie's a lot more straightforward than most Bond films (*cough*Octopussy*cough*)

Along with Dr. No and Goldfinger, this would be a great introductory film to get into the Bond series.

Don't know what it is about Cassablanca....

Perhaps the Leading lady is a timeless beauty.

Perhaps Bogart is at his grim and gritty best.

Perhaps because the Captian is the sleeziest, yet funniest charater evern.

Perhaps it shows there is always hope, when it is darkness.

Perhaps it's because Nazis are such good villians......

Perhaps its the song that tells is like it is...

    "You must remember this,
a kiss is just a kiss, a sigh,
    is still a sigh...
    the fundemental things apply,
    as time goes by.

    And when two lovers woo,
They still say I love you
    And that, you can't deny
The world will always welcom lovers
    As time, goes by."
