Here i was hoping Epic may give us another week to catch up

    Placed my picks

    Questions
Will the tigers play any better this week
Their play in the last few weeks has been shocking.
I think Lambs head is on the chopping block

I see Manly are back in the comp will they get a win against the Roosters this weekend?

Any picks for the Aus NZ Maori game on Saturday?
I see some of the league guys have made the team.

    Should be a cracker
the AB play the irish just before too, should be a tough win for the AB's

The Tigers played well in the second half last week, but that may have been cause the Eagles shutdown after half time with their 32 point lead.

Lamb is as good as gone. Paul Langmack may get the gig.

Big test for the Warriors this weekend too. If they win in Australia again they'll have to become a top four favourite. They're still in 5th with the bookies with the Eels there.

Game of the round tomorrow night with the Eels and Knights too. Grand Final replay. Looking forward to it.

    :)

Tigers v Panthers is the tough one. And I noticed that the Knights are the underdogs... at least with the bookies. Seems slightly odd, seeing the Eels only just got home against the Broncos, who were backing up.

I put $1000 on the Knights to win. I'll double my money and get some loose change.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, it's in that fantasy betting game that I posted earlier.

    I am backing the Knights

eels have not found last seasons form yet

Warriors will win over the bunnies

Our mid season review is out (No sure if they took it off an Aussie web site or not) and their results for finishing position were
    1) Dogs
    2) Warriors
    3) Knights
    4) Broncos
    5) Eels
    6) Roosters
    7) Sharks
    8) Dragons
    9) Panthers
    10) Raiders
    11) Storm
    12) Eagles
    13) Tigers
    14) Bunnies
    15) Cowboys

    What are peoples thoughts?
Mine Warriors with finish 3rd or 4th.
Sharks with improve unless more injuries and they still have their bye's so 4 more points

Wedge can i join that bet? i think i can find my monopoly money around here somewhere

I think the Warriors will finish fourth. Maybe Fifth if the Eels pick up, but I reckon they could seal fourth spot if they just keep winning at home (cause they're doing well away).

The Knights to finish 3rd to the fast finishing Broncos that are doing all the psycological damage on the league and referees. They'll settle down after the SoO series.

The Bulldogs will run away with it at the moment. They've only got 2 losses in all 3 grades so far as well. They've got massive depth, and they still aren't getting the credit they deserve. Remember, they finished second on the ladder last year.

Here's the link to that online fantasy betting. It's a bit of fun.

Robbie was great against the Eels.

The Blues do look strong on paper. Gidley, Ryles and Barrett are a classy trio to bring in. Although I'm glad Brent Tate is getting a chance, too.

SoO will make some interesting games this weekend

Rooster v eels and kights v tiger looking interesting
Sorry wedge how good are the youngsters inn the knights team?

The warriors should steam roll over the dragons without barrett, ryles, bailey, no go forward and kicking game big problem

No Timmins for the Dragons either.

The Knights will struggle. They always do without Johns. The team is good without him, and they do want to prove they can win without him, but they just can't.

    Knights by 20. :)

    Winners from yesterday were :

    The Storm by about 40
    The Bulldogs by about 40
    The Sharks by about 40.

By the way, the guy I went to high school with payed 15/1 for first try scorer and I had a hundred on him. Yeehar!

The Dragons just beat the Warriors by 10. An absolute boilover.

I'm off soon to watch the Knights game. I'm pretty worried about this one. It'll have to be a big one from the young guys like Brisbane did to the Tigers a few weeks ago.

Knights got sunk by the Tigers. Hee hee. See, Brisbane have a thing called depth. It's a great asset to have. :p

RE THE TIPS: Gawddamnit. Man, it sucks how if you're late at all you can't pick for the rest of the round! Gah! Has it always been like that? I normally wait until later in the week before I tip, so I know whose in and whose out or whatever... but then I completely forgot. D'OH.

    Oh well.

And I can't believe the Warriors lost. Man, what's up with the Dragons? They beat Brisbane and New Zealand, yet can't beat other dodgy clubs??

And Brisbane is probably gonna lose Chris Walker next year. The bastard wants more money. Pfft. Loser.

Souths are supposed to get Walker, but Bob Fulton said that the Eagles were looking into him.

About the Knights' depth, well they're good players. But they hardly ever play together and they just don't stand up when they're needed. We've also got a lot of injuries at the moment. Still, the Tigers played well today. They're twice as good with Galea in the team and then they're three times better with Tezza Hill in the side.

You'll have to let me know what you're tipping if you're going in late. I think it's just me that can edit them. Sorry.

Did anyone see Trent the Flight Attendant on The Footy Show the other night? He's the best character they've ever come up with. Matty Johns will be a TV star well after his footy career is over. Joey is more likely to go with coaching.

Here is the ladder, by the way. We have a new leader this week thanks to epic's forgotten tips. :) It looks like a close race to the end this time.

I also picked up another spot (although equal 5th) on the ladder. So that's 3 places in three weeks.

    :)
