Er, summer arrived a bit late dontcha think? 35 degrees tomorrow? ICK!

Well I got 6 from 7 picks right this week - a fluke I assure you. Picking winners is not a usual occurrence for me ...

But I will be keeping an eye on all the tips floating round before I make next week's picks - gives me good reason to watch The Footy Show and actually concentrate on the footy side of things for the first time rather than Fatty and Snorky's comedy skits (which I find highly amusing btw).

Good ol' Sharks didn't let me down. I saw some newspaper's predictions for the year, and they had them like, borderline making the eight. Pfft. Kimmorley, Johns, Campbell, Peachey and Stevens... 'nuff said, really.

Bronc's... and Alfie looking good early. Besides the Doggies, everything else really went to plan opening week.

And I intend staying where I am in the tipping. I WILL BEAT YOUU ALL!!1

Only the first round though and everyone did pretty well. I'm a bit dissapointed the Rabbitos didn't put up much of a fight.

what was everyone's fave football theme song? Tina was simply the best i thought, so that's my fave.

 

Yeah, Tina was a rouser with her song. Jimmy Barnes wasn't so bad either.

The game last night was a good one I thought. A lot of mistakes with the weather being like it was, but all in all it was exciting.

Anyone else think that El Masri's first try was very lucky? Some mates were trying to tell me his last one was doubtful too, but I wasn't hearing that. But the first one was a big call.

The Warriors got up. That'll give the New Zealanders a leg up this round. It's shaping up for a shocker for me.
