Sth Bend, IN 4-27-01 Meeting!

For all who would like to attend, we will be having a game/movie night this Friday. We will play some Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, and watch SPACE BALLS. (which I have NEVER seen)

I was at Best Buy tonight and low and behold..there it was staring me down. Spaceballs on DVD. I reached to grab the the holy grail of Star Wars spoof when I seen the $20 price tag. Maybe someother time, so I grabbed Air Force One instead.

 

I will pick it up tonight for the friday meeting. And BDZ you said you have the Trivial Pursuit?

Oh yes I think Mav should bring the soda this time.

 

Yes, I have TP. I don't have the E1 pack of questions though.

Ahh yes, Mav downed a 12 pack of Dr.Pepper by himself.

 

What time? I can clear any time Friday and am trying to convince a non-posting member that he should come in the hopes he will turn into a posting member.

Well, I get home around 4:30 so anytime after that is cool with me.

 

In all fairness to Mav, I DID drink a can. and any time is great by me, this is the only recreation I'll have all weekend

 

Any time looks good for me also. I am now done with my tests till finals

 

OK, let's plan on 5:30, then. That will give me plenty of time to get to the west side from Granger.

 

Wah hooooo!! I WON!!! I am the gawd of Star Wars trivia!!!! Although, I will admit, we all had our area's of strength. Knnos is the gawd of Pilot Trivia. Empyre is the gawd of Books and Obscure Trivia. I am the gawd of General Movie Knowledge Trivia. and BDZ...well...BDZ is the gawd of Every Other Kind of Trivia

It was a VERY close match, we ALL reached the last peg at the same time. After a 45-minute shoot-out between Knnos and myself, I came out the victor.

"I rule!"

 

Don't let him fool you, I was picking out very hard questions for Knnos.

You know, like "Why is Knnos a discrace to the Wookie race?"

Hey, at 7:30 pm on 4-27-01, Griffin sent me an email stating he wanted to come over and needed directions. Approximatly at that time by my estimates, we were watching a little alien sining "Hello my baby". I invited him to the next one but he is going to Omaha without us so he won't be able to join us. Just sharing the info.

 

I have to check the boards more often, you people just SLANDER me while I'm gone.

 

Is that any different from when you are on the boards?

Besides it is not as great an insult as having to play her highness.
