4/7 meeting

It just dawned on me that I have a wedding to go to at 4:30 so I can either show up late or only stay for a few.

 

You're gonna have to at least make an appearance, otherwise I'm going to have spaghetti sauce coming out of my ears. Your stomach is expected.

 

We'll put a BIG bib on ya, so's ya don't get your tux all covered in sauce!

 

sorry I got confused the weding is saturday the 6th and the meeting is the 7th . I will be there for sure.

 

Glad you let us know that you will be there, I was gonna try and eat your portion of Jen's spaghetti, I don't want to lose a hand over it, though.

 

Where is the meeting going to be? Time? Bring anything? And most important, are new-guys welcome?

Here's the info, come on out, we have a great time on the boards, but the meetings are where the real fun begins.


Meeting #9 will be at my place. There will be fan films, SNES video games, computer games, and "sewing for dummies." I will also be making some of my Infamous Raptor Spaghetti (definately carnivorous, and w/ a serious bite), so let me know if there are any veggie heads or pork intolerants (we know Chunk is not one of them). Junk food needs to be BYOJ, since I do not partake, but I will have some of the aforementioned Magic Veggie Dip and veggies for consumption.

Bring your costume hopes and materials, I will have a sewing machine, & I think JGOC is bring hers too, but a back up would be a good idea.

Just past this building is the turn into Creekside Apartments.
My building is the one along the drive where the Mailbox Building is at, but on the Right side of the Mailbox Building.
16 is the four on the end, & I am on the 2nd Floor, w/ the moose on the door.
I will hang something from my balcony to mark the spot.

I can also provide a visual map of the complex for those who request it, but I'm sending one to Dave now (& the day before the meeting). Just PM me your email, & I'll send it out.

I DO need a costume. I'm debating wether to dress up or not for Indianapolis and I'd love to get some ideas (I practice Aikido and been debating if I should dye my Gi and pants....perhaps a robe....Hmmmm....) Hope my Sensei don't find out.

This is the group for ideas. We have a master costumer & two pretty amazing prop men. Plus it seems we have a few others with a bit of talent in this area.

You're going to Indy? How are you getting there? DH & SC and myself are driving, plus Faceplant and darth_jar are going too. We're going to try and hook up at some point during the event for a "CO Connection," you could join in for that too.

 

so this meeting is from 4 till midnight? Sounds like we have a lot to do.

i have a good idea to up the postings .

how about sign in and sign out threads . it could be a good way to see who is on and creat more posts . it would be nice to have every one do it every time but it would be ok to forget .

Jen: you want me to bring my n64 & Pod Racer w/ me if you're going to have your SNES going? I just got the game and kinda suck at it, but I didn't know if anyone else wanted to play it (I could probably send it home w/ someone b/c I'm about to sell my n64 and games).

 

I can't guarantee that you'll see me if you show up the day after the meeting

JO-What kind of requirements does outcast have? A demo might be nice

 

Gave the early April meeting info to TFN, but should hold off on the 20th meeting until we know what room it'll be in!

Was there a decision on an earlier start time to this meeting?

Also, ZOO, do you have DVD player? I have a DVD of the EPI and EPII trailers that we could watch.

 

Anytime after noon, everyone is welcome. Yes, I have a DVD, but cannot play VCD's, someone asked me about that, I haven't gotten the firmware upgrade done yet. VCD's will work on my computer though.

The time is tentatively set for 3 or 4, and dinner will be ready by 5PM.

 

It's a real DVD, not a VCD, but that was a reasonable assumption, your player does have to play DVD-Rs. I'll go ahead and bring it, if it plays we'll cheer, if not we won't worry about it.

 

I think the "Jerry CSpring'er" kids are coming up around 1PM or so.....

 

Jedi Outcast needs a Pentium II 400mhz or higher and 64-128MB Ram and a D3D compatible video card.

 

I'm not sure about the video card, but I'll check.

DVD/VCD - Someone else asked me about VCD capabilities. If I find enough time this weekend I might get the firmware upgrade done.
