We couldn't have done it without everyones help. What type of goal should we have? By the end of 2008?

 

The stats:

Milwookies - 5400 post deficit - Started 5/25/2005 - Overcame 8/9/2007 - Average 142 posts per month
The Natti - 2600 post deficit - Started 8/1/2007 - Overcame 4/6/2008 - Average 325 posts per month

We've dramatically increased our PPM since we started assassinating fellow Midwestern cities.


I'd be willing to bet we further increase to 400 PPM, which would put us at ~2/1/2009 to overtake MoTown.

Factors that may affect this:
-Decreased post count in the summer
-A celebration event in Chicago
-Star Wars Movie/TV rumors
-Book clubs, events, contests, etc... things that give people a reason to check the boards more often

 

I should read a good Star Wars book and report back.

 

If you are going to start, I recommend Vector Prime.

 

X has lead the charge once again.

Detroit does not seem to be very active - I think we can sneak up on them while they are sleeping

 

very true, they just had or will have a con there, and still they are kinda dormant.

Only renegades like .....uh.........er....well, everywhere in Indiana,

seems to still have some life on these (or other) boards.

I think there are more, and more active fan forces in Indiana, than in many of the larger states.

Sounds like something for researching and posting on the STATS thread

well, hopefully a more definitive answer will appear in the STATS thread,

but for now_______California is leading with 8-listed chapters,
and ______________New York is second with 7

Indiana and Texas are tied for Third with 5 each.

that someone has just posted to the R2Detroit
boards for the first time in 3-months!

Well, it would have been less that 3800 to go with this post,

but,

X has generously let the guys in Detroit know that we are stalking them.

He has used this clever ploy before, and managed to find some Star Wars fans
elsewhere.....but......for now, all is still quiet in DTW

 

About 3700 left with this post. Given the revolts happening on the Chicago board, perhaps SB is poised to be the "Next Big Thing" in the Midwest? Interesting happenings over there.

 

Yes, the Chicago boards seem in flux,

also, I have posted a little to the Detroit boards,
in hopes not seeing them go away.

When chasing the Milwookies, and teasing them about it,
at least we woke up some Star Wars fans for a short while.

R2Detroit commentary by me.

I have posted over there and have tried to encourage them to stay in
touch on this web site, but, lack of an actual get-to-gether,
seems to have many over there depressed.

tho, I do know some are moving away to the West Coast.

anyway, for some strange reason, South Bend Star Wars fans
do not seem to care where they are as long as there are here as well

 

Speaking from experience, it was always kinda hard there because of the area of the suburbs, that regardless of where the meetings were, they were going to be far away from someone. And there was definitely at least one time I tried to go, that I couldn't find the location for anything. It sucked.

I'm not gonna lie, I miss R2Detroit.. It was nice not being the only girl. =P
