I'm always happy when fleet shots from this period mimic the end of TESB as opposed to ROTJ. I like the idea that the fleet gets progressively bigger as the war progresses, plus the idea that the main fleet (composed of all the Star Cruisers and larger ships) wasn't the fleet hunting for a new base. The "Base Fleet", if you will, is the one built around the Medical Frigate, smaller escorts, and all those transports.

Anyways, that's how I imagined things as a little kid, hence my desire to see it canon.

Nice to see the Blue Lightsaber +5 of Tusken Vanquishing hasn't been nerfed post-patch.

 

Why is the Andromeda Galaxy photoshopped in the background of the fleet? It just can't be the GFFA, it's only two and a half million light-years away!

 

Oh stop ruining NIck's enjoyment of a Rebel Fleet shot!

 

"They couldn't pick one of the other hundreds of galaxies that NASA's HST has imaged? Well, Andromeda definitely does have the best resolution, but even so! And where exactly is the fleet for that matter? And another thing, line of sight dictates that..."

 

It would be ironic if the Tusken Raiders shown in the preview are moving about because of Darth Vader's actions at the end of Darth Vader #1. How many times is Vader almost going to kill his son?

 

Maybe this is hint that the TESB Rendezvous Point has been in use by the Rebels for a while - as well as a "what the rendezvous point really looks like" clue?

 

it's crazy how much i mistakened luke for anakin in that tusken raider lightsaber shot. i didn't realize it was luke until i saw the han solo-esque pants with the gold stripes.

 

Why is Han making, what appears to me at least to be, a Troll face?

 

Just this comics art style.

 

I like that Han has slowly healed from his injuries in #3 the past two issues.


#3 Can't talk
#4: Bandages over his head.
#5: One plaster across his cheek.

Only a real badass like Han could heal that quickly

 

I don't want them to make Fett too bloodthirsty. He's an antagonist within this story, obviously, but he's not evil. At least, he doesn't have to be. Having him kill Jawas seems odd.

I've always thought of Fett as being brutal, but the best amongst his fellow bounty hunters. The Good, rather than The Bad or The Ugly, if that makes any sense.

 

Wasn't a big point of other bounty hunters hating him, in The Bounty Hunter Wars, his lack of a "code of honor" when dealing with them?

 

I'd say it was a willingness to break the Guild's rules rather than a lack of a moral code.

Besides, that's non-canon now.

 

The point being - that there's nothing in the movies to suggest he's at the "good end" of the bounty hunter scale - and also that the EU didn't really put him there either.

 

I understand. I guess I'm more so stating what direction I'd like them to take him in. I just don't think massacring Jawas really fits Fett.

 

Now that is very interesting. Maybe the Story Group forgot that this is in a galaxy, far, far away and made it into our galaxy?

 

Maybe all Galaxies look the same far far away

 

Or it is just lazy artwork, that is no more canon now, then it was back in the original Marvel SW

Fett's dialogue seemed rather over the top.
