Here is the figure that Hasbro is calling the 500th figure in the Star Wars line: Darth Vader Meditation Chamber

Looks great. I just wonder when he will be coming out with all that we will se in next month or two.

Pretty nice. I hope that figure is poseable though - in that pic he looks kinda wimpy with the lightsaber..

Looks like a modified VOTC Vader to me. As if they added a removable helmet to it and built a base.

Nothing wrong with that, mind you...VOTC was a fine Vader.

Looks like one I would actually want to take off the card and display.

Depends on how it looks in the box Spook...I have a feeling it's going to be quite nice looking.

Well, you are right, I guess I thought that it wouldn't be in the pictured pose in the card/box.

If it is like that, then I will definitely be trying to get my hands on one and I wouldn't be taking it out.

I'm picturing it being packaged similar to the Geonosian War Room and Jedi Council Screen Scenes. Setup in exactly that pose and highly visible in the box.

I believe TRU has listed the price at $16.99. Doesn't matter, I'd easily pay $20 for it.

This does look interesting. Hmm... I'll probably have to get it since I got the 300th Boba.

Looks real cool! But the chamber needs to be bigger, imo.

What were the other 00th figures? I remember some of 'em, but not all of 'em.

100th - some vintage Luke Skywalker, right?
    200th - Mara Jade (?)
300th - Boba Fett (my favorite Fett figure, too)
    400th - ????

The back of the 300th figure Fett told us what they considered the 100th and 200th figures...perhaps the 500th figure Fett will shed some light on what the 400th figure was.

Considering the ROTS and OTC lines together are about 100 figs it's probably either an early OTC or a very tail end Saga figure...or on a random off shot it could be one of the last Clone Wars figs.

Seems Hasbro's counting can be a bit funny at times though, so who really knows.

Number 100 was the Power of the Force Han Solo in Carbonite back in '85. As for the 400th figure Hasbro will not say which one it is.

Probably because if they did it would show off their funny math.

I have a hard time believing that the Saga, Clone Wars, OTC, and first waves of ROTS all add up to only 200 figures. Which is what it would have to be for this Vader to actually be the 500th figure.

I think its a bit sad that almost every exclusive vader to come out is a repack, or in some way uses parts of previous figs. Vader is THE focal point of the saga, and if they insist on making over 20 different vader figs, they should put some effort into him.

I love Vader but I think they could have done a better job with this one. The whole thing looks aukward to me.
