Knox, TN 501st

Do we have any local folks with the 501st? Im in the begining process of a Sith costume, and will be looking at a ST uniform in the future.

 

Im here in nashville and keep an eye on all the various forums.
Im XO of the southern outpost and can answer your questions,
there are alot of active 501st members in and around knoxville.they could possbily help with costuming questions as they get together often.
I would also encourage the support of the knoxville fanforce.I actually dont want to take anything away from these guys by posting info here so i wont.

I do want to add that the 501st only accepts "canon" costumes.canon means "movie accurate" ,meaning,you cant throw a black cape on and say your some weird made-up sith lord.we get those all the time.we are a specific niche in the star wars fandom.we do movie quality costumes.if a character is a "bad guy" and he/she is in the movies then your alright.otherwise it wont get you membership.

Yeah, Queen there is a Desert Troop, and I'm a Royal Guard. We like to kill Ewoks and chew on Jawas for fun, aside from the costuming.

Nice pic, I take it your boyfriend takes up the photo and support duties that my wife plans on doing, or is he into the Star Wars as well?

Oh and your right Sandtroppers are nice, but well, we'll see. I've wanted to be a Stormtrooper since I was a young un' so like I said we'll see.

 

Oh my boyfriend is more into SW than I am if thats possible. He doesn't dress up... yet I will make him though, err I mean he will some day.

 

Just make sure he picks the right side...
