    I believe all of the titles from the original Fleming stories have been used, right? That means this will be an original?

    There haven't been many clunker Bond titles. Accurate though it may be, Moonraker is certainly wonky, and not many people seemed to warm to Quantum of Solace, but the rest are quite good to outstanding.

    If Blofeld is back, the title should be: Specter. They could even retcon Quantum from CR and QOS to be Specter. Mr. White, who was in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace could be second or third-highest ranking member of the organization.

    I thought it was interesting that Roger Moore was the only Bond that never ever ran.

    Yeah, he found early on that he looked awful running, so always had scripts changed to remove any running scenes, iirc.

    We have a Bond series discussion already, EHT.

    The unused titles are Risico, Property of a Lady, 007 in New York, and the Hildebrand Rarity.

    One of those is almost usable, one is meh, one is squee, and one sounds like a Robert Ludlum title.

    007 in New York = lol, never
    Risico = Nope
    Property of a Lady = What we got as QoS should have been called this. I mean, sure, tying Quantum the organisation to the title was cute, but it never explained how Bond got his quantum of solace from Vesper. But it's great.
    The Hildebrand Rarity = Was this your Ludlum?

    Yes, I know. I was just posting that for discussion of potential titles for Bond 24, and to list what's already been used from the novels and what wasn't from them. :)

    I just hope we don't get a sequel to Skyfall. Please.

    I liked Skyfall, but I don't want a direct sequel to it. That doesn't seem to be something that's been rumored at all, though, so it's probably safe.

    Sure; but it's Mendes directing, probably Thomas Newman (ugh) scoring it...

    Property of a Lady is the best still unused title, hands down.

    Wasn't this next one going to be a somewhat return to the wacky gadget usage?

    Not sure when the announcement is supposed to livestream, but I just read that Sherlock actor Andrew Scott and not Christoph Waltz is going to be playing the main villain (According to several sources, who are of course never wrong). If true, that doesn't necessarily mean no Blofeld, but he seems an odd choice if it is; even if it's "Blofeld Begins".

    If Blofeld is the villain for this new movie, I wonder if the recent Bond movies will parallel the first four: two involving a major criminal/terrorist organization (Specter/"Quantum"), then a movie not connected to that organization, and then back to the villainous organization. Granted, Blofeld didn't play a major role in Thunderball, but the pattern could hold.
