Wow, yeah... those 15 seconds are pure Bond theme. Not sure what to expect when his singing can be heard too, though.

Anyone bought the new blu ray set of the Bond films?

 

Well... the 15 second sample was great. The song itself is... not quite there. Some good componentry and I'm not necessarily anti-falsetto... it all depends on what Daniel Kleinmann cooks up.

 

I liked that short sample because it screamed "Bond theme". But now that I've heard a one minute sample on iTunes with his singing included, I'm not very into it. I liked the Skyfall theme a lot more.

 

Sam Smith just comes off as whiney and angst-ridden. His multiple wins at the Grammy's this year was undeserved, and I hope he goes away like James Blunt did.

 

the music sounds okay, the singing and songs itself, i don't know yet.

should have brought back Tom Jones

 

hope there's more action in this one , looks like there is , my main problem with Skyfall was that there wasn't enough .

 

The theme is really low on power.

 

Wasn't Ellie Goulding going to perform the theme? What happened to that development?

 

they should get Lulu back she has a good set of pipes on her .

 

Her song is pretty underrated for an otherwise terrible movie.

 

....her voice was okay. i didn't think it was much of a song, just okay.

 

Not quite getting the online vitriol for the new song because it's so damn unmemorable I can't imagine being angry about it. It's like getting angry about a particularly unpleasant looking sidewalk crack.

It's literally just a repackaging of the old Blu-rays, so unless you're dead-set on buying a massive collection to get one authorized documentary I'd say buy piecemeal so you can pick and choose. I mean, hell, even I don't want every Roger Moore movie.

 

ive got the original dvd's , most of them, with the great documentaries. plus i still dont have a blu ray

 

Ramza, I bought the complete Halloween blu ray set instead. Worse choice?

 

Some of the video transfers in that set are outright garbage so... yes?

 

they play them on tv every halloween. that's how often i need horror , but that's more play than the Bond movies are getting on tv recently.

 

Were you trapped in a store that would not let you leave until you bought the complete Blu-ray set of something?

They should have just recycled Thunderball over a new credits sequence.

It's not like the lyrics made any sense the first time, either.

 

I hope this movie doesn't suck.
