Note that it is acknowledged that it is possible that one or more of the "unknown" Jedi listed here could very well be either already-accounted-for "unknowns" listed or named Jedi whose fate is unknown.

However, due to the majority of them being background extras, it is almost impossible to make a positive identification. Despite this, this is still the most detailed breakdown you're likely find in an unofficial source and makes a good eference guide to spotting what Jedi died and where.

Bant, A'Shared Hett, Rainik Solusar, and Siri are also in the space battle from Jedi Starfighter. And someone else I didn't actually see the in game, and who's never seen mention before I don't think. He was mentioned in the strategy guide or instruction manual, IIRC.

Ohh, I almost forgot. Echuu Shen-Jon and his Padawan, Stam Reath, from the Clone Campaigns expansion for Galatic Battlegrounds. Koon, Depa, and Mundi were with them. Stam dies to Sev'Rence Tann. I assume this mission is the cut Sphere Ship mission.

    Roundabout way of finding some possibilites;

Make a list of all Jedi that would have been present on Coruscant at the time (best source; holonetnews.com). Those probably on Coruscant would presumably be at Geonosis.

Also, the Jedi Council members not seen on Geonosis are, IMO, probably watching over the order back on Coruscant.

I believe the Adi Gallia look-a-like was said to be a relative of hers named Stass Alie.

Unfortunately, Isbeth, despite Salvatore's propensity for battle scenes, the end battle in the novel is quite disappointing.

That's another thing that disappointed my about the novel: despite the fact that so many new Jedi are introduced in the film, and that Salvatore was going to "flesh out" things from the film, Luminara and Barriss, as I recall, weren't even mentioned in the novel.

"So, here's what we have so far for the 200 Jedi particpants in the Geonosis battle going in..."

The novelization says that Mace Windo gathered 200 Jedi to go with him to Geonsis, if I recall correctly. Obi-Wan and Anakin are already there. Therefore, there are really 202 Jedi involved with the battle. Also according to the novel, only 20 survive.

However, later in the book (after it's already given that 200 Jedi will be dispatched), it says 100 lightsabers ignited around the arena. So, what the heck happened to the other 100 Jedi? Was the 200 a typo, meant to be only 100? Or was the latter reference meant to be 200 instead of 100?

Perhaps only 100 lit their lightsabers at that point.

I remember reading something about a separate mission led by Ki-Adi Mundi and Plo Koon (anyone shed light one this?) - maybe the other 100 Jedi were with them?

Well, that's one of the mysteries that really needs to be expanded upon.

I really hope we'll have an Insider's Guide to AotC. There we should have all the answers we need. And the names of all the Jedi seen in the movies.

BTW; who's this "Nubian" Jedi, and why is he called like that ?

In my opinion, it didn't look like 200 Jedi were there. If anything, it looked like a few dozen only. But, of course, I've only seen the movie once. [face_blush]

Mastage: Why on earth would 100 Jedi hesitate to activate their 'sabers when they're surrounded by potential enemies? :p

I think that it was probably a typo. That's the best logical explanation I can come up with. :)

Okay, from the Jedi mentioned over at holonetnews.com, I have compiled a list of possibilites with reasons why I think they could have been present at Geonosis.

This is my opinion and theory.

Belsed-Qan Idan: Mentioned as being on a mission with Kit Fisto. Kit Fisto is at the battle, so there is a possibility that Belsed-Qan Idan was also there.

Jedi Knight Empatojayos Brand and Jedi Knight Chellemi Chuovvick: Both mentioned as being on a mission with Bultar Swan in the Sepan system. Swan is at the battle, so there is the possibility that Brand and Chuovvick are present.

Jedi Knight Qu Rhan: Was on Coruscant; possibily tapped by Mace to go to Geonosis

Jedi Knight Reeft: Returned to Coruscant after hunting fugitive Rotar Lapani. Possible member of the Geonosis force.

    Sar Labooda: Mentioned alongside Depa.

Jedi Knights Tassida Judrelle and Quarmall: Cracked a smuggling ring with Stass Allie; if Stass was at the battle, it is reasonable to assume these two knights were there as well.

Jedi Knight Joclad Danva: Former teras kasi champion, probably returned to Coruscant after losing, in time for the Geonosis battle.

Okay; this is a theory, and gives possible names to Jedi at Geonosis. Of this list, Brand and Rahn survived and are mentioned in later EU - their survival can be linked to Quinlan Vos' survival (maybe they all boarded the same gunship, or were injured and recovered later).

    Thoughts?

There is no Sarr Labooda. That character's name is Coleman Trebor. He was the one that Jango shot off the balcony.

The "Nubian guy" is an unknown black guy who is in the final circle. As I am a Kevin Smith fan, I felt obligated to call him a Nubian. ;)

    Unknown #1
    Unknown #2
    Unknown #3
    Unknown "Nubian Guy"
+8 to 10 other Jedi on Core Ship Mission

Going from memory, Coleman Trebor is the duck-bill dinosaur dude on the Jedi council that Jango Fett kills. The Nikto Jedi is a nameless Nikto Jedi seen in AotC (he even has an action figure). Shaak Ti is the Togruta Jedi Council member. Stass Allie is the Adi Gallia look-alike, a relative of her's.

The Core Ship Mission was a mission undertaken by a few Jedi to knock out some of the Sphere Ships to try and deactivate the droid armies. Mundi, Koon, Depa, Shen-Jon, and Stam Reath and about 4 other Jedi were all apart of that mission. It can be seen in the Clone Campaigns expansion to Galactic Battlegrounds.
